In all fairness BIG BIG diff between a 77 blazer and a 91 pathy. Still a motor swap when your 17 on your own is an accomplishment all in itself.

I like that one better, The pathfinder head light arent very bright, even with my HID's I would'nt want to cover them. And I was going to sand blast the chrome and paint it black anyways...

Yep that looks like it would be it. That's money!!!! I'll have to see what I would have to do to make the phantom fit my 95 pathy!

Here is my two sense. I think this whole set up is pretty dam sick. Even if you spent twice as much on the set up, it's all worth it to be different. For those who want to criticize you, or question what you have accomplished, don’t let em get ya down or have you start second guessing yourself. Congrats man, looks sick.

The one I'm talking about..... There was an issue in a 4wheel drive magazine a couple months back. (ill get the issue for you guys when I get home later). There were two brothers out of Cali with billet style grills. Or actually bars running horizontal. Kind of like a Chevy grill.

Since I put my system in I was wondering if anyone makes a rear cover for a 95 pathfinder. I am not comfortable with all my equipment exposed to the world. Has anyone fabed one up? Pics would help as well. Thanks in advance.

RESULTS ARE IN!!!! So after a very long two mother F-ing days of installing all my crap here what has came of it. I did buy the install kit from Best buy only because of the fact I got 75% off (my wife works at the corporate office). I did run my wire after all across the fire wall into the plate on the driver side. When all was said and don’t the kit left me about 3ft short. So now I have my power cap mounted on my back hump above the tires. Not cool. I used my jack mount for a ground, I just tool a dremal and cleaned the paint off. So after ALL OF THIS CRAP I have decided to start all over. I am going to take peoples advise and go buy my own 4 gage wire. (buy PLENTY extra so I will not be short again. LOL on a side note word to the wise!!!!! Never tell your wife it's only going to take you a couple hours to complete a task, then 2 days later you finish up and not even close to happy with the result!!!!

ya my wire harness comes through the passenger side. I just drilled and ran it. Does anyone have any pictures or links to custom boxes.

I'm running an alpine Kapa Perfect 12" sub, and all alpine Kapa perfects components all around. My mount is on the outside but I do allot of camping. I plan on eventually building a custom box along the passenger side. For now I have just a standard Best Buy box. I plan on stripping the interior tonight and get started. I guess my down fall is I'm a perfectionist. Every wire has to be perfect as well as look nice.

I’m not to sure I want to run my wire all the way across the to the other side of the motor. One of the reason why (for me at least) I like a solid power line. I bought a standard amp kit, and the power wire isn’t near close to being long enough... And I don’t want to waste money buying everything separate.

I have a couple questions about setting up my system. First off, does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to run your power wire through the fire wall. (Battery on the passenger side). Second has anyone made there own box for the rear. It just takes up so much dam space. If so any pictures? Thank you in advance!!!

I use my GPS I just put 31's on my 95 pathy... My spedo reads normal untill I hit 60MPH then it reads 5 MPH difference.If I go 70 it reads 81MPH

Sorry to but in guys.... I was always told dont run synthetic unless you have ran it from day one. We bought our Avalon and run Toyota's blend, I ran for a few changes in the Pathfinder and everyone said it was nuts..... So a couple questions???? Can I run synthetic (I have now 118k and some chang), if so what weight should I be running?

I was wondering if there is anyone making custom grills for the pathfinder. I picked up a 4 wheel drive magazine a few weeks back and there were two brothers out of Cali (with pretty nice pathy's) they both had custom grills. No biggie just thought I would ask!

I really appreciate all the help. One last question I have. What about the steering shaft, it seems like it is going to slip out. Any one have any problems with this?

That is a GREAT idea, I will pick up new hose lines in the a.m.!!! The kit I got from 4x4parts.com said to prtty much move everything on the fire wall up 3".

I beleive the actual pump the one you have to move up 3" on the fire wall. I couldnt tell you for sure my mechanic was asking these questions. I'm just trying to make it easier for him.....

Thank's guys for all the input. Here is my next question the power steering is a pain in the ass to remount. Any advise on how or where to put it? Any pictures of what people have done would be great.

So I ordered the BL from 4x4 .com, does it not come with the back bumper relocate? (95 pathy) I just figured out I need the radiator relocate. What is the major difference between the 95 BL and the older models BL?
