  2. dosn't that hose lead down to the fuel pressure regulator, when i had my intake off thats were my hose that was on the back of the intake went to.
  3. thanks, i will look into that right now. it is a 95 xe. i don't know how i messed up my profile, but leave it to me. LOL. Vadim.
  4. well i had 285,000 klm's on mine and they made a tick sound untill they warmed up, anoying as hell, i replaced them and the problem solved, just one of those things i guess with this engine that seems to be a achilies heal.
  5. well i have searched all over here and i cannot find what i need so i am going to ask if anyone can give me a hand, i changed my valve lifters and my whole intake off of a 95 pathfinder with 10,000 klm's, now it seems to idle around 900 or so, it used to idle around 750 with the old intake, i was wondering how do i set the timing on a 95 pathfinder and while i'm at it i would like to check the timing, but in my chiltons book it states that it can only be done by nissan dealer??? thanks for any help, greatly appreciated. Vadim.
  6. i put in the passenger side cam followers and rockers, no more tick whatsoever, now i just have to take the drivers side off, damn plenum, there is more wires on that damn thing than a plate of spagetti. i wish i could have gotten the whole damn thing, o'well. a/c is still working ice cold, man i love it. lol. thanks for your help guys.
  7. well here is a update, it's all done, and was really easy, i went to parts day today at standart auto. found a 95 pathfinder with 10k on it, i almost crapped. anyhow removed the entire a/c system that was still charged, that wasn't fun, took everything exept the condesor which i had bought last week, took me about 2 hours to totaly remove, got home, opended glove box, removed the glove box and the little steel pannel behind it, unhooked the wires didn't even remove the blower, the evap falls right out pretty much, anyhow installed all the parts with 10,000 klm on them and worked like down town, i am very happy, i also took the intake with all the sensors and removed the rockers and lifter assembly as well. no all i have to do is put that in my engine. made sure all the lifters stayed in there keepers. got a really nice set of blue NGK wires that appear to be new as well. made off pretty well for 50 bucks. almost killed myself carying all the stuff out in a bed sheet lol. no i just have to fix a fuel line i found today thats been stinkin up my garage. i guess thats tommorow project. just thought i would fill ya's in on my progress. i couldn't believe how easy it was, thought i was going to have to fight with it the whole way. begining to really like working on this truck.
  8. ok great guys, i'm going to the scrap yard tommorow and going to use a scrapper as a guiniea pig. lol.
  9. so i have to remove the dash, then blower, and fish around for whatever else is atached to it, man this is going to be fun, i already put in a new condensor, so i'm not going to stop now, just i new exactly what steps to get the damn thing out, it's going to be a day or two job. looks like i might have to wait until i can afford the compressor, don't want to leave lines disconected for long, moisture and such. man i get myself into the most PITA situations. i'll never learn.
  10. Ok well today i put in my new condesor for my a/c, now i have found another leak, it seems somehow the small line going into the evap.at the firewall by the rubber seal thing has a leak, now does anyone know if this little line is attached to the expansion valve, or is it a small piece i can buy, after i figure out how to get the darn evaperator out??? i have searched but didn't come up with what i was looking for, i have a 1995 pathfinder, can someone exlplain to me how do i get the evaperator box out?? i'm pulling my hair on this, any help on any of the two problems would be great. Thanks. Mike.
  11. yeah the blets are all new, nissan ones at that lol, by brother in law has the money to spend at the stealer ship, anyhow here is a update, i changed my oil, for the THIRD time this week, to get rid of additives ect... well i bought this stuff called restore and some lucas oil stabalizer, changed it and started it up, clicked and clacked for a few seconds now it's quiet as a church mouse. knock on wood that it stays that way, i will keep you all informed, i also added that lucas gas treatment, that stuff is the cats ass i tell you. lucas makes some really good stuff. so i will drive it for a week and if it stays like it is now i will always be adding a can of restore and the 20% per change of lucas stabalizer. man i hope it stays the way it is now, save me alot of money and headache. i will get some pics of my beast up later today and you can all give me your opinion on what you think of it. if the ticking is gone, she's as good as new!! anyhone know were i can locate some new bumpers and a push bar for a 95 pathfinder, i really would like to get some dress up stuff, make it look mean lol. Thanks again for all your suggestions, it's appreciated. mike.
  12. i am certain it's not the manifolds, i will post a video up of the ticking, it's random, from one head to the other. i can't get seafoam in canada, but i can try rislone, so far i have tried flushing, and a can of wynns engine tune up stuff. i found a store where i can get all 12 lifters delivered for 209.00, i was just looking over the engine and what a pita this is going to be, taking the damn intake manifold off to get to the driver side valve cover, anyone live in the area that wants to donate some of there time? i bought the quaker state GL-4 oil, got 4 quarts in, just have to tilt and get the other quart in, that cost me too, 90 bucks for 5 quarts, good thing it only needs to be done once in a blue moon. i'm so frustrated right now!! i'll get some pics up today as well as a video. thanks for any help and suggetions guys/gals.
  13. well i got my truck home, and it seems i have lifter issues, after sitting overnight, or even for a few hours my lifters click and tap for about 10 mins till they fill up with oil again, i have tried flushing them with engine flush, used some additive to free them up with no success, i was told to change the oil and substitute a litre of ATF fluid and run it for 5000klm then change the oil and if it's still there they will have to be replaced, i am leaning toward just replacing them. they are a bit pricey though, 32.00 canadian for just one, and i will need 12. anyone have any idea's i could try out before spending a lot of cash on em, and anyone know were to get them cheaper in canada? thanks for any input. it's a 95 pathfinder. i will get photo's up of the beast as soon as i can. regards...Mike.

As for were i live, i am in ontario, port perry to be exact. anyhow gotta run, answering damn emails about my car, i can't wait till it's gone lol. i hate selling vehicles. Peace... Mike.
