Honestly cops arouns here never really care about the uncovered roof lights. Maybe not alot of people have them but I never got stopped for havingthem yet. Maybe the cops just have better things to do or they're just never around. They got enough business from damn kids speeding around. Last night my _IDIOT_ friend was at walmart and her mom was coming to go get her at wherever she said she was. She was like "fskc we gotta be home in like under 5 minutes". So she did 120 on the highway from one exit to the other while hitting the governor, barely stopped at the red light at the off ramp and ran it too on "no turn on red" as well as running other red lights, did about 90 on open roads, passed a tractor trailer, etc. We got like half a mile away from the truck and I see blue lights thinking "haha the truck go pulled over" ...wrong. He wants us. 4 cars come, one leaves. She got lucky and didn't even get charged with speeding even though it was 90 in a 45 about. 3 points and a $108 fine. I love how we had a lunch box full of beer but it was empty when we got pulled over and the cop is like "you got your lunch in there with you?"

I got my R50 back from the shop and he said I had to drive it around to make sure the light doesn't come back on. Well the light comes on when I turn the key to "on" but not while driving. I went to advance the auto parts and they scanned it and came out to P1400 something about the EGR Selenoid. Anyone have more details on what this could be? I really need this fixed by Monday for so I can get stickers.

He looked over it and said the code wasn't for the exhaust it was for some wire missing so I got that fixed and there was another code. He fixed that and told me I had to drive it over the weekend to make sure it doesn't come back on and it just did today. I got some P1400 code about emissions. What should I do? Tell him to look at it or what? Can I clear it without a scanner cause autozone won't do it and nor wil advance auto cause it's against the law apparently to them now to clear codes. I don't wanna spend more on diag cause it's like 48 an hour. Can he tell if I just clear them before going in but how?

I think that'll reset it then it'll relearn everything once you start it up but I'm not sure.

Well I looked it over and it may need brake pads but I'll probably buy them so he can put it on. I did some things to make it more legal like covered up the roof lights and I got the stock fender flares on. I don't have very big mud flaps in the rear but they're bigger than the stock ones. It all should be good. The SES light is on but there's no bulb. I know it's the EGR code due to exhaust cause it had holes in it but I just put a whole new setup on that's close to stock specs as far as piping size. Besides brake pads, maybe wiper blades, I should be good to go.

So I need to get this inspected and have no slap-a-sticker connections so I need to know if there's anything I really need to watch out for on my R50.

Wooo I knew the top screw was the only one. It was REALLY in there. The pathy is now ALL legal. Project pathfinder is on it's way pathy: $500 parts: $50? exhaust: $220 (good job from manifolds back) Let's see if I can get a sub-$1000 SUV here ...

all fixed but how do I REMOVE the corner light. I got the screw up top but it won't budge. I need to change the bulb :-(

I have the housing. That's what I'm talking about. I'm really just interested in making these lights work first cause I realise that I'm going to need to rig something crazy up.

Yeah I just checked it and it worked but I see no parking lamp fuse. THe brake lights work. DO you mean the brake light fuse?

Dash lights work but where's the parking lamp fuse? And does duct tape ... work for inspection? I mean there's workarounds for everything but right now the wire is tied to keep it "in"

My problem first of all is that my corner headlight got smashed. I got a new one but apparently other @!*% got broken like the hardware it mounts to. I have nowhere to secure it. I really need SOME kind of solution for inspection. Next problem is that the corner lights do NOT go on. I thought they were Daytime lights and the sensor is broken but the turn signal doesn't light up either in the corner light. It goes on in the bumper and taillights but not the corner light. I also have no working dash light. It doesn't go on with the lights but all the other warning lights work as well as the cluster. Is there a fuse for the corner lights and the dash lights? I just really need to get all the loose ends so I can get this inspected and on the road.
