  1. Does anyone know what the pressure of the power steering return line is (in PSI)? I developed a hole in the hard line that goes out by the radiator, and I am wondering if I can find a similar rubber hose to replace it with that meets the pressure requirements. Obviously I'd prefer not to have a leak or blow out in the middle of nowhere, hence my question. Thx
  2. Thanks! Downloaded a copy! Unfortunately, it did not have an exploded view of the PS lines.
  3. I have a leak in one of the lines in my system, and I am trying to find an exploded view of the parts so that I only order the stuff I need. Is there an on-line link that shows this? Also, is there an on-line resource for the factory service manual? I have the crappy Haynes manual but it is pretty lacking in the PS dept.
  4. Hello all, I have a 2001 Pathfinder LE (3.5 v6). I have developed what I think is a power steering leak. The leak appears to be coming from a hard line on the drivers side front of the truck, from behind a retaining clip. I live in the midwest so I drive on snowy, salted roads, so it seems like I could have somehow gotten something behind the clip that either rusted or abraded a leak in this line. My questions: does this sound like a power steering line? If so, which line is it (return line? pressure line?) and where can I purchase one most economically? If this does not sound like a power steering line, any clue what it is? The leaking fluid looks like PS fluid, and my truck keeps running low on it as well. Thanks in advance. Joel
  5. Hello everyone, I have a 2001 Pathfinder LE with around 90k on the clock. I love the truck but it is now starting to have little mechanical issues, so I decided this might be a good forum for support from others in the same situation. From what I have seen so far, it appears to be a great community! Joel
