About Me

I'm a retired educator and part-time marketing and communications professional who spends most of his time remodeling/reworking homes and restoring my Pathfinder that wife and I purchased new in California in December 1991. It holds 263,000 miles of family camping trips, beach excursions, and commutes from the years along with current trips for groceries, garden supplies, and the occasional 4x8 sheet of plywood.

It's in remarkably good shape for its age - showing all the signs of old pathfinders listed in this forum - but worth updating in my opinion. You can't buy this quality of vehicle anymore. Our love for the vehicle and Nissan brand influenced our decision to purchase a 2024 Pathfinder Platinum in November (my wife's daily driver). I seriously doubt this new Pathfinder will eclipse the OG92 in longevity.
