    Sure, pal!

I'm waiting for my D2S bulbs. I am tempted to take them off my other car but I'm sure Mr monkey-hands will damage them. Wiring is all done and this has been by far the easiest retrofit I've done. No wire stripping, no drilling or dremeling and the shrouds are like tailor made for the reflector bowl. The only problem has been finding where to mount the ballasts, but mostly because I want them hidden. I don't like the blacked out headlight look so I'll try to avoid painting the reflector bowl unless I see stray reflections that could cause glare. Once I get the bulbs and make sure the cutoff is straight, I will post some pics.

Please do, some pictures or a writeup on this would be incredible. Are you planning on swapping to an SE grill?

Awesome build! How was swapping in a new 3.5? Kinda scared about mine kicking the bucket soon...

  4. Not sure where to post this, but I have a couple questions about the build I am saving up for.

about a year and a half ago I replaced the rear trailing arms and with that, installed new oem spec shocks. I am looking at land rover 9447 springs, which from my research will yield about 2" of lift, and increase load capacity a good bit (please correct me if I am wrong). Would I also need to replace the shocks with this? I am not doing a ton of heavy wheeling, just some stuff every once in a while and also to have a cool truck to park in the lot at school lmao. Also looking at ac 2" lift coils in the front, do I need any specific strut for that? Or can I get an oem spec replacement strut? Also going to grab some manual hubs as well. Please hit me up with any suggestions and or advice, I am a high school student serving tables to save up for this. I have been so inspired by the builds on here for too long I need to get a piece of it myself haha.

Is anyone familiar with how this roof rack is set up? Would it have issues with a sun roof? Also would it be safe to stand on? Looking for something similar for my pathy.

I replaced my entire front suspension. Also replaced both axels. I didn’t replace wheel bearings. I replaced inner and outer tie rods, swaybar bushings and links as well. Anything that had to do with the suspension I replaced.

    good to know, thank you!

Thank you. I’ve enjoyed every minute with her. A lot of elbow grease, time and money, but she’s been well worth it.

I'm curious, my pathfinder has a similar amount of miles, have you replaced the wheel bearings and control arm bushings? I have replaced my trailing arms, shocks, and upper control arms (I believe, again I am new to this) in the rear, but I am starting to grow conscious of the fact that it may be time to do all of that stuff to the front suspension.
