My 95 Pathfinder is doing the same thing, the alternator charges fine but the brake and battery light stay on. I disconnected the black w/yellow stripe wire with the engine running the lights go out and the alternator charges. If I shut engine off and restart, the lights stay off but the alternator will not begin to charge until I reconnect the wires. I am selling vehicle this weekend and don't want to sell with any problems. Thanks in advance
