New Pathy V8 Upgrades - if it was someone else's money

Also, let me add, the offroading we do is about 1-2 miles of lava rock. We've previously used a first gen stock Rubicon that we've outgrown. The island is full of Tacoma / 4runners / Jeeps...looking forward to trying something new. Any input on the best suspension / tire combo and other goodies that will make this Pathy shine is greatly appreciated. -
New member and just bought an 08 LE V8 to be used as a 3rd vehicle...mostly weekends with the family. We have a house on the Big Island in Hawaii...the best beaches require 4wd to get there. If it were someone else's money, what upgrades would you make to a stock LE v8 model to be able to off-road on the weekends but still be comfortable to take the kids on a 2 hour trip around the island? Other than the obvious radiator / trans issue which I've already addressed, initial thoughts are suspension upgrade, brake upgrade, upgraded headlights, etc. What's the best of the best for this model...would love to hear your thoughts.
