  1. Yep, the hose linked above replaces the bottom AB Value hose perfectly. I ended up getting it directly from the retailer's website because they had faster shipping options and I needed to get this fixed ASAP.   2. Thanks Slartibarfast, Ok. The injectors passed (1.5 ohms) but other tests failed. I couldn't get any voltage to read at terminals 101/102 (Injector A) & 114 from the 15-pin ECU connector. Terminals 103/104 were within spec with (12.4V). I then tested resistance between the WL connector and ECU. Terminals 101/102 showed resistance of (14.5 ohms) and terminal 103/104 a resistance of (7.5 ohms). I was surprised 103/104 did not have the correct resistance here? I tested everything multiple times so I am fairly confident in these results. So this tells me there is a wiring issue? So, I will try cleaning the connectors with a brush and vinegar. Then I will inspect all wiring for damage. Maybe something is cutting into the harness. Anything else I should do or look at? Electrical issues are not something I am good at.
  3. So I can use any type of hose for this? That's were I was confused. I can use a heater hose, fuel hose, etc? Because I also need to replace the top Air Cleaner To AB Valve hose I'm looking at buying and cutting up this rubber fuel line as it has the same ID (1/2") - https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Molded-Fuel-Line-Rubber/dp/B07YLXS7C3/ref=sr_1_13?dchild=1&keywords=1%2F2+id+hose+90+degree&qid=1609466767&s=automotive&sr=1-13 Should that hose do the job? Also, thank you for looking into the bolt size for me. I appreciate it.
  4. 1) The bottom AB Valve (90 degree) Hose on my 1988 Pathfinder just split and I can't find anything to replace it with. What do I do? I believe this is part number #14864 (Hose-Ab Valve To Inlet Connector).   5. A few months ago my 1988 Nissan Pathfinder XE 3.0L starting going into fail safe mode at 2800 rpm (Code 51) and then a month after that it became completely undriveable. It was idling very rough, jerking and cutting off when accelerating. Both fuel injectors tested below ohm specs. So both injectors were replaced with re-manufactured injectors and the problem was resolved. Or so I thought!! After 3+ months of driving the truck without issue I'm now right back at the beginning of where this whole thing started. The truck is again going into fail safe mode at 2800 rpm with code 51. So what now?

  7. Got in my 1988 Nissan Pathfinder this morning and it is running extremely rough all the sudden.Then it would stall either during idle or while driving if I let off the gas pedal. The truck starts without any issue. Not really knowing where to start I first cleaned the distributor cap, contacts and rotor but that didn't help. I also checked the spark plugs and fuel pressure and those are good. At that point I pulled Error Code 11 Crank Angle Sensor/Camshaft Position Sensor from the ECU. So am I wasting my time doing any further troubleshooting other than just replacing either or both the distributor and Camshaft Position Sensor?
  8. I see that I need to test the resistance between the W/L connector and the ECU. Can someone please look at the attached image and tell me if that is the W/L connector? Also, where is the safety relay? I can't find it. Thanks for everyone's suggestions/help on this. I sure hope this doesn't end up being an expensive repair I can't afford. I really like my pathfinder and just want to get her running right again.
  9. My 1988 Nissan Pathfinder is in fail-safe system operation and stutters when rpms rise above 2,800. The ECU's self diagnostic systems displays code no. 51 (Injector). I tested the 15-pin ECU connector and I have no voltage between terminals 101 & 102 and 114 shows voltage of -00.1?? and terminals 103 and 104 both show 12.85 voltage (good). This appears to indicate that one of the injectors is definitely bad.? Can anyone confirm this? If one injector is bad then no further troubleshooting is required as I plan to replace both injectors in that case. Which brings brings me to my next question. I would like to do this repair myself but I am novice mechanic and not sure I can do it myself after reading the replacement instructions online. But I am in a bit of bind here because no repair shop I have called in my area will touch it. They all say it's too old.
