Howdy y'all, I'm a southern virginian living in prairies of alberta Canada. Purchased a 97 pathfinder se klondike edition automatic trans(3rd owner, second driver) about a year and a half ago. 360k on the clock when I got it, sitting comfortably at 380k now with some minor maintenance work and some upgrades(brakes, bushings, plugs+wires, front bearings, lifted 2 inch front/3 inch rear, drive belts, and tensioner pulleys.)
Recently replaced the harmonic balancer as that separated from its bushing. Still lots to do on my list of repairs but I am absolutely in L O V E with this vehicle. I plan to keep it as long as the frame allows. Be it engine/transmission replace or rebuild, or bondo repairs to rusted out quater panels. I've got potential transmission issues currently that I'm hoping to get a lead on but yielded no results when using the search function. Figured before I make my own post about my problems I'd reach out for search topics I can pick through to find the answers I'm looking for. Thanks in advance and glad to have found this community.
