Whattup man. Sorry, I have not installed the setup yet. But I PMed members with that exact setup and sounds like no biggie to get the mounting points to fit. I guess I’ll find out when I do it.
Thanks! i had 12mm sleeves for the upper mount

I recently ordered my set, so I can only speak on that setup.
I ordered the rear NRC 9447 springs for the rear as they are the softer, shorter of the LR options as I didn’t want too much rake and I’m not heavily loaded in the rear. I got these from LR Direct.
The rear shocks, you can technically use stock KYB oem rear shocks, but you won’t have much travel. So the common upgrade paired with the 9447 springs would be Bilstein 5125 series 33-185552 as these extend about 3” more than stock without any major risk or changes needed.I got a rake!! even with a 1" spacer on OME HD lol

FINALLY!!! put the truck back together, also changed the steering rack bushing since it was off, also had front and back sway bar links/bushing on hand for awhile. Did those too.
NRC9447
Thought about getting longer Bilsteins, but for now will use the pair i bought a year ago from a fellow Npora local member on here. 5100 (185509)
Will coat the wheel wells later on
Orangy Spacer didn't come in on time, didn't bother using one but added the 1" SF Creations spacer
Front 2928 OME HD Coils on KYB Struts All OEM Nissan Hardware
Even with the 1" spacer in the front, still a bit of a rake but will wait for it to settle and then also do the alignment
BEFORE
AFTER :););)

Wow, must be nice having that kind of workspace available and a clean undercarriage to work on!! I'm currently doing my front suspension overhaul (due to a snapped coil) and so far I have about 12-14 hours into it. Almost every fastener has needed to be heated with the torch, backed off with a HD impact gun, most bolts have needed to be heated and beaten out. Luckily I have a decent size garage with a decent arsenal of tools, but the rust and corrosion is beating the hell out of me!
Ya totally hear ya...Ive known this buddy for like 20 years never have in my years and tons of cars I've owned have i used his option to use his shop til now. Well especially not this extensive. Ya it makes a huuuuuuuuuuge difference not having heavily rusted parts. Hey man at least u have all that, space and tools. I'm a home mechanic with cheaper brand tools, the other benefit is being here i'm surrounded with snap on tools if i need it and advice/help if needed. Good luck on the suspension overhaul guess PB blaster wont work, heat it is ha

Update, so for the past week and half. the truck been slowly worked on, sitting on the hoist. Removing parts when i can come in, been getting help from the shop, Nissan Seals/Gaskets been a waiting game as we go along and see things that are needed
Week ago, i installed these new belts lol off they come again to remove upper oil pan
Under Carriage was pretty clean in turn made the removal of parts much easier
Rear Main Seal
This crush washer above the RMS was probably the longest wait
Cleaning the upper oil pan and lower
Box of hardware for the lift top to bottom. All Nissan parts except rear bump stop
TO BE CONTINUE......

So Update, the truck is on the hoist. Transmission removed, will do seals soon (Pics to come)... and YES FINALLY i paid for the front and rear suspension hardware. Every piece from top to bottom from Nissan, but the only part that i didn't buy yet are the bump stops. Are u kidding me almost $250 after tax CDN for both sides and that's with my dealership discount lol none to less lift finally coming soon, now have to decide on what length spacers to use up front hmm
Storing at shop

by the way if you plan on getting the rear bump stop at Nissan its $$$ for both sides Ekkkk

Ah okay thanks! I have all the parts except the springs now.
I was reading up on the Land Rover springs and it seemed like people got spacers up front with them? Is that necessary? I’m not looking for max lift, I just needed these parts replaced and figured why not a little lift. Is 9447 the right spring for the rear? Or is there one that doesn’t need spacers up front? Thanks for the helpYes i got 9447 but Im not even sure since i've been told otherwise that a 1" spacer upfront may be too much. I'm trying to level it as much as possible time will tell may get the 0.5" spacer instead

Does anybody have any more insight on getting a correct reading from this style dipstick? I’ve always struggled with this. Glad to hear I’m not alone!
When changing the fluid via the drain plug (not a full flush with filter etc) how much have you guys been replacing? I’ve been getting about 3L out so that’s what I’ve put back in. But my dipstick consistently reads as overfilled. Experimented with slightly less but even then it stays high.
Btw Around 4.5-5L on my 03 Qx4 with jus a drain and refill

Okay so I’ve collected new struts and shocks as well as ordered new Nissan oem strut insulator mounts, bolts, etc. I just wanted to check to see if there’s anything I missed? (Or if I messed up any ordering)
Struts:
KYB 335033 Excel-G Gas Strut
KYB 335032 Excel-G Gas Strut
Shocks:
KYB KG4163 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock x 2
Nissan parts:
54320-2W100 x2 (insulator mounts)
01225-00231 x6 (bolts)
54325-5V000 x2 (strut bearings)
54050-0W002 x2 (struts bumper/boots)
Was thinking of getting the OME springs next month:
2609 MD back
2608 HD front
That all sound right? Sorry I’m very much mechanically illiterate and I truly appreciate your help/guidance
Thanks
Amanda
Think the 2608 is for a r51...Check for OME at 4Wheelparts.ca in Langley. That's where i got my front HD Coils (2928). And if u wanna save money source out everything at different place such as even amazon for one and Rock Auto.com for another for the KYB Struts As for the rear springs lot of us get the Land Rover Defender 90 for the lift. Cheaper options

One last thing before i put the engine back together was i did the drive belts debated about the radiator as well.... Coolant flush right after. I went to Nissan the same day and got a estimate(discount) from Nissan from top to bottom for the hardware for the front and rear lift. RMS next!

Hey guys thanks for the heads up, as i recall doin research from a year ago . I was trying to achieve having the lift the most possible leveled kit and was told the 1" on the front would be best. Hmmm. maybe i researched wrong.

So this past week has been quite eventful ...Started working on the all Gaskets Seals
Step 1 Remove Air Intake not having the bulky OEM Air box etc ahhh makes life so much more easier
Throttle Body Before &
After
Hopefully no one kicks the bolts/screws over, bc that's the order they have to go back LOL
Intake manifold collectors YUCK! Before &
After Cleaning
The Infamous Screws
Valve Covers Off!
For a truck that drove good, i'm glad i did them. It seems like the dealer tried to hide stuff but using silicone on the Spark Plug Seals Ekkk.
VC arrived Beck/Arnley, open them up and what do you know they are OEM NISSAN Score! $530 CDN all in with shipping from Rock auto to Vancouver
Outside box
Inside box
Did Both the thermostat and water valve, drained the coolant since everything was apart next. i didn't remove the fuel line/injectors, did it somewhat blind in a tight spot but still managed.
Decided to not go any further down, still have the Rear main seals etc to do. Cleaned the Intake manifold from above and used air pressure to shoot it back up and dry.
New Valve Covers back on..have to go to Nissan to get those blow by breather hoses since they were hard as a rock
As for now just waiting for our long weekend to be over so i can grab couple more hoses for the lower manifold and finish also probably slap on new drive belts too while I'm at it, since i have them already............future plans is to basically installs these finally one day LOL
Kick back and enjoy to be contnued

I'd expect a loss of power at lower revs, and possibly a pissed-off computer as well.
That's what I said too but I'm not sure... Thanks for the reply.

So i'm in the process of doing all the gaskets, valve covers etc at my buddies mechanic shop right now...was about to thread lock the screws but has anyone ever removed them completely? and remove the butterfly to leave it fully open. My buddies seems to think i should. Debating

Super inspirational thread. I’m hoping that soon I can find the time to take a week and knock out a bunch of maintenance stuff. I want to do the rear diff fluid, transmission fluid, front o2 sensors, fuel filter, oil change, clean the MAF and the IAC, reroute the air intake/add K&N cold air intake, replace VC gaskets, replace the radiator, go through all vacuum lines and hoses, and ideally also replace other sensors that might be due for failure, as well as the injectors (but not super high on the list).
Thank u and if you got the time you should! Get one step ahead for further problems right . Post it once u decided to do it all. Cheers buddy
