  1. Thats the one. Just need a set of feeler guages to confirm some specs. I want to say the gap on the unit shouldn't be more than 0.014" but its been a while since I installed mine.
Do you already have manual hubs?

I’m going to do manual hubs at the same time. Thanks!!

  2. Yep!  I put LR springs and Bilsteins on the rear, giving about 2.5" of lift.  I have a 2" spacer on the front now, but next week KYB/OME springs with 1" spacer.  I have skid plates on now and rock sliders are coming next week, along with manual hubs.  Lots to do!  I actually bought that QX4 brand new in 2002 and never drove it very much, so it has pretty low miles on it.  The benefit of a California car, especially where I live and it's almost always 70F, is no rust, leaks etc. It's technically my 16 year old son's truck now, but I'm having fun working on it.

That wont work on any R50 unless you swap over to a 31 spline setup. All R50 H233B rear axles are setup with 33 spline.

The 31 spline swap has been done and @hawairish documented the steps and parts needed.

Thanks!  Probably easier to just swap the axle.

btw how long it took the items to get to your door? im interested now after seeing that in person.

It took about 2 weeks from the time I ordered to arrival at my door.

Great meeting you today!  Thinking about the SFD and 6 inch lift......

  5. You know, your transfer case looks awfully wet.  Got a leak?

I'm jealous of how unbelievably rust-free your undercarriage is!

California car! Never seen bad weather, basically no rust anywhere.

I just changed the transfer case fluid.

Anybody got a set of 2 inch front strut spacers they’re not using anymore they’d be willing to part with?

I will likely have a front/rear set in the next couple weeks.  Replacing front struts and doing 1" on front, LR springs on rear no spacers.

The OME HD springs plus a 1” SF creations spacer is a great, safe setup. Multiple guys run it, no report of CV issues

The 1" SF spacer would take the place of the Trim Packer?  How much lift would I get with the 1" SF and KYB GR2/OME HD's?
