Hey guys, Any ideas on why the fuel gauge would read what i would assume is fairly accurate readings until the needle reaches a hair under half tank? Once the needle reaches there, it seems to drop to read quarter tank of fuel remaining rather quickly. Hope this makes sense.

Just curious if you ended up undertaking this project afterall..?
