Has anyone used LEDs from https://www.carlightingdistrict.com? I dont know much about LEDs and if these are good quality and prices, any thoughts? They seem to have up to 40% off until January 6th...

When you ran these, what wheels were they on and do you know what the offset or backspacing was? I just had these put on my 2001 QX4 with the MB wheel and a -6 backspcing and they rubbed the bumper. I'm thinking these would fit if they were on a wheel that didn't have the -6 backspacing...

Ok so they put the new tires and wheels on my QX4 and they were too big! They looked great but when turning the tire would rub the front bumper. The setup was Goodyear Duratrac 265/75/16 on a MB 352 Wheel that had a -6 offset. This setup was a 31.6" diameter and stock is 29.5. I plan on keeping the MB wheel but changing the tire size. Or should I go with a wheel that doesn't have such an offset? MY GOAL here is to go as tall of a tire as I can without having to lift or level the vehicle, I'm not really concerned with the width of the tire. I don't mind trimming the plastic in the wheel well but I don't want to trim the bumper. So the next size I am going to try tomorrow is the Goodyear Duratrac 245/75/16 which is 30.5". Any input/opinions/experience/recommendations is welcome! Thanks!

So I am getting some 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs put on some MB 352 Wheels and I anticipate I'll have to do some trimming which I'm ok with. Besides clearing the strut, anything else I should look for/be concerned about? TIA

It has been in AZ 99% of its life so there is virtually zero rust. I don't really like the running boards but my little girls use them to get in. I use them to reach the top of the vehicle and they hold me up pretty solid, I weigh 220lbs. I may take them off in the futrure though. The inside I think looks better than the outside, its in great shape. I'll post some pics shortly...

Hey Everyone! I decided to make my own thread and document my new QX4 and the upgrades I want to or have done. Hopefully this will help me not hijack anyone elses threads! Thank you for the input and information that you have already put out there, I really appreciate it! So a little about the new ride. It is a 2001 QX4 that had 2 previous owners, zero accidents, and only 98,000 miles on it when I bought it. ok thank you for the info! I was just looking at the Sylvania ZXE and the Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs and it looks like they may get me close to the same color as my factory HID low beams. I just want to get rid of the yellow!

Hey Guys, I'm looking to upgrad my high beam and fog lights to LED/HIDs in order to match the factory HID low beams. What would you recommend? I've searched some threads and looked on Amazon but if you were going to do this to yours, what would you choose? Thank You for any info!

Would a set of 255/75/17 BFG Mud Terrains fit with some trimming? The reason I ask is I found a set of 5 brand new Jeep Rubicon takeoff wheels and tires for $950. I noticed that the wheels are for 5 lug and the QX4 is a 6 lug.....would wheel adapters work and would this size fit with trimming? Thanks for any info!!

Hello, Just want to say that this is a great thread, your mods, photos, and info!!! I have been reading these forums for the last month and today I just bought a 2001 QX4 with 98,300 miles on it. Per the carfax it has 2 previous owners and zero accidents. I'm looking to put some new tires and possibly new wheels on it too. It currently has 245/65/17s on it but I'm looking to put bigger tires on it, I'm leaning towards the BFG KO2, but maybe even some Mud Terrains! What is the biggest size I can go with before I have to put spacers on? I prefer to not have to do a lift so I don't mind a little trimming. At the most I would do would be a 2" spacer lift. Thanks for all of the info on here! P.S. I'm trying to post a photo but cant figure it out!
