If anybody out there knows where to find another one or who has one for sale, let me know, I'd love to find one!
-
I would love to get my hands on a factory light bar!
-
Yeah, rust under the back seats, also in the corner of the fender wells and the brake lines too.
-
I've got the Pirelli Scorpion 31" tires. So far they have been great, no complaints at all!
-
Could be a lot of different things. Have it checked. It may be something simple like low brake fluid, or even very low tire pressure causing the steering angle sensor to reed incorrectly. I've even seen it come on when one brake caliper was locked up.

Those pictures of the remote don't really look stock, the underside of it (the second pic) looks very strange.

I'm not sure about all the Nissan's, but I know the Sentra's that were sold in Canada came with engine block and battery heater, heated mirrors, and daytime running lights standard. The ones sold in the US didn't. Engine block and battery heater are accessories. I wonder if your Pathfinder was originally bought in the US?

I have these horns on my Infiniti (they used to be on my Sentra). They are Hella Supertone horns, 118db. They are pretty damn loud and not annoying, but get your point across. Pretty much a plug and play. I am about to order them for my Pathy as well. I know quite a few other people that have them as well on different types of cars. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hella-Super...sspagenameZWDVW

What's The Single Largest Inherent Flaw In A Wd21 Pathfinder?
Destro replied to 88pathoffroad's topic in General Forums
I really haven't had many problems with mine at all, although I am still only at 99,000 miles. My biggest problem is body rust. The frame seems ok, but areas in the fenders and especially under the back seats are rusting. -
Yes, recalls are always under warranty. I would give it at least a month for the dealers to receive all the information and the parts to actually do the recall.
-
Nissan doesn't tell their dealerships about recalls until about a few weeks after it is announced to the public. A lot of times we find out about recalls by customers calling in and asking about it. Nissan hasn't told us anything so we have no clue.
-
Nissan actually has a patch kit for this problem. It is basically JB weld and a metal crimp to go on the ends to seal it up. Should cost you about $300 parts and labor for a Nissan dealer to patch them for you.

Need Help Troubleshooting P0100/p0325 Codes...
Destro replied to ace4aday's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
yes, but we are actually rechecking for any codes after the repairs are done, and the knock sensor code does not come back, unless there really is a problem with the knock sensor. Most of the time the code never comes back. -

We see the knock sensor code all the time with a MAF code or misfire or something like that. We fix the other problem, clear the code, and the knock sensor usually never comes back. Unless there really is a problem with the knock sensor. -
Need Help Troubleshooting P0100/p0325 Codes...
Destro replied to ace4aday's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
It could have, the malfunctioning MAF could have caused the knock sensor to retard the timing. The knock sensor code doesn't necessarily mean the knocks sensor is bad, it can mean that the knock sensor is just detecting knock and therefore it started working. More than likely, when you fix the maf problem and clear the codes, the knock sensor code won't come back. -
It may be the amp. I know my 87 had a small amp under the radio behind the console.

I have a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe and I bought a 87 pathfinder a few months ago. I barely ever drive the G35 anymore. I love the Pathfinder, just so fun to drive. I think from now on I will always have an SUV, hopefully another "classic" Pathfinder.

Definitely your control arms. We normally charge customers about $1400 parts and labor to replace them at the dealership I work at. So, if you can do it yourself you can save some money, but they aren't all that easy. And we usually start to see them go around the 90,000 mile mark.

Mine had 95,000 miles when I bought it 2 months ago! I love it! But anyway, yours looks great! Paint looks excellent. And I was waiting to see a pic of one with a bug deflector on it before I got one. Looks good!

thanks for the replies, sorry about getting back to this so late. I'll check into if I have to order that box with the motor or if I can get it separetely or not. I work at a Nissan dealer, so my cost shouldn't be too bad, plus free install!

Hi, I have an 87' pathfinder with intermittent wipers. I have had it for about a month. At first the intermittent wipers would only work randomly, now they don't work at all. So, now I have 3 speeds: off, fast, and really fast. I have already tried replacing the switch with a new one, but didn't work. Is there an amplifier or relay somewhere that may be the problem? I already put on a ton of rain-x and some really good wiper blades, but not having the intermittent wipers is really annoying me.
