  1. I ordered mine from Steve on 6/27 and still waiting. I can't believe you got your springs that fast. He told me ARB was out of stock, but I guess not if you got yours. I ordered medium duty all the way around based on Steven's recommendation. Is that what you got?
  2. So I'm putting my OME lift in soon (if ruggedrocks would ever ship them ) and thought it might be a good idea to replace the rear bumpstops while I'm at it. But where the heck do I get them and what size should I get? Any advise would be great. Thanks
  3. Hoping not but thought I should ask before putting the lift on.
  4. Nice! I just ordered my lift today from Steve at Ruggedrocks.com Hoping it shows up by friday. I'll post some before and after pics next week if anyone wants to see them.
  5. I've done all the reading on here about lifts and have decided to go with OME HD in the front and OME MD in the back with KYB all the way around. But before I dive in, I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what the ride feels like? Thanks
  6. I'm doing my timing belt and now that I have everything off I have noticed that the passenger side cam seal is leaking. I have air tools so getting the bolt out of the cam shouldn't be any problem. My question is how do I hold the cam sprocket in order to torque it back on? Thanks for all the help on this.
  7. Yeah! Got the pulley off but now the ac line is in the way. I need to move it up about 1.5 inches but I'm afraid I will break the line. Any advice?
  8. I read the write up on this and it said to pull the ac line up to get the cover out, but I'm afraid I'm going to break it. Is there some trick to how I get this cover off? Should I rotate it one particular way or another?
  9. Do you have any idea what size the threads are on those bolts?
  10. I thought that too, but I didn't want to wreck the threads by forcing in the wrong size bolt. I guess I could just try the 6mm x 1.00 and if it does mess it up just re-tap to the other size.
  11. No, 10mm don't fit. It's way to big. Any chance it's a 5mm x 1.00? I tried a 6mm x 1.0 but it would only thread in about one turn and bind.
  12. Does any one know what size bolts fit into the crank pulley? I bought a puller and it came with plenty of bolts but none of them fit. My pathy is a 1998. It looks like they are 6mm x 1.25, but I can't find that size bolt anywhere so I figure it must be something else. Thanks-
  13. I'm not sure which cylinder is the #1. I have a 98 pathy. Thanks in advance Josh
  14. I just got my new timing belt and it has no timing marks or any sort of directional arrow on it. It's a Cloyes brand which the salesman told me was the best quality you can get. Does it matter which way it goes on? How do I figure the positioning of the belt on the gears without the marks? I know one of you super smart mechanics knows some trick for this so if you could clue me in I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance- Josh
  15. I saw xplorx4s write up a while back and it looked easy but now the picks are all gone on it. can any one please give me some pointers on the process? Thanks in advance for your help.
  16. So I just replaced my rotors and pads on the front today and they seem to be working just fine. Only one small thing. When I change directions (From reverse to forward or vise versa) the first time I hit the brake there is a small grinding noise for a split second. I figure this is just the parts seating in but if anyone knows different please give me a heads up on this. Thanks.
  17. I'm replacing the front brake rotors today and was just wondering if anyone knows the torque amount for the hub bolts and the rotor bolts. Thanks in advance for the help.
  18. I'd ask if those are the right hubs. They show part number #20990, NOT #29091.
  19. This is what the shop manual shows. You can see that there are 2 sensors right next to one another. Then if you compare to the pic of mine you can see that I only have one. Any idea what the other one is,was,or should be? oh, and the sensor in the color photo is only like a 12mm size.
  20. I think this is where it should be, right? Basically I was just messing around and noticed this.
  21. So I'm thinking of replacing my ECT sensor and I open up the hood to see how the access was and it's just not there. I have a 98' and the shop manual I have is for a 97' so could the ECT sensor be in a different place? Any help would be great.
