  1. thanks for the reply's i have looked in the post in the how 2 section and did not see how to measure how much lift you could get without ball joint problems or how to measure how much higher than stock the front end is sitting.

  2. i have found some coils i can get for cheap and i understand the part for installing the springs in the rear i can use stock shocks right? I was wondering about the front how much can i crank the t-bars without having to worry about ball joint angle and will I be able to crank them enough to make the truck sit level and is there a way to see how much they have been moved from stock hight. i have a 94 with the tire carrier.

  3. i checked the plugs on the back of the guages they seem to be tight and the dimmer seems to work. but i tried to make the lights cut out last night and coundn't get them to go out. so I'm not sure if it is just the guage lights or if the lights by the heator controls go out to. or if the tail lights and the marker lights go out to. but when the do go out turning the switch on and off a fiew times seems to make them come back on. even when I'm not moving. i did notice that there are 2 taps on the wires coming from the the turn signal/ headlight switch. and i have still been unable to find the pins and colors of the wires coming from that switch go to if anyone can point me to where i would find this in the manual that would be great.

  4. my dash lights go out every now and then, the headlights always stay on. they seem to go when i hit bumps. i can usually get them back on by turning the headlights off and on a couple of times. they have never come back on by them selves, but then i have never given them much time to do so. is this problem caused by the headlight switch (the part that rotates to trun the lights on and off is loose). i have been looking at the service manual but have not been able to figure out how the lights are wired. if any one could shed some light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated. and wire colors in the dash for headlights high and low and dash lights would be great.

    Thanks Dave

  5. with rear only abs can you feel it pulsing in the pedal??? i can lock up the tires and dont feel the pedal pulsing. the previous owner may have replaced the rear axle is there any way to find out if the stock axle was replaced with the LSD one i have now

  6. im looking to put a hitch on my pathfinder cheap

is it possible to put a bumper for a Nissan pickup on a pathfinder without welding????

would it be possible to just weld a reviver to the rear cross member of the frame ???

  7. i want to know peoples experiences with the polyurethane ball joint spacers and how they are installed. do they require a alignment how difficult is the process what tools are needed etc. the package says that it provides 1 inch of lift at the wheel. does that include adjusting the torsion bars or is that just spacing that the block provides???

here is the link to the product https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=199

    Thanks Dave

  8. I have a 94 pathfinder and was wondering if anyone knew or had a diagram of how the fog lights are wired and what you would have to do to get them to run when the brights are on.

    Thanks

    Dave

  9. Dead alternator. If you had an automatic the A/T Temp light would be on too. Have it tested before it leaves you stranded on the side of the road. :)

that is what i was afraid of but it starts fine every morning is it just slowly going out ???

  10. about a week a go my pathy started showing the parking brake and battery indicator lights after i start it the lights stay on anywhere from 5 to 30 minuets does anyone know what could cause this

    thanks

    Dave

  11. i was wondering if the battery termanal was a good place to take power from? that seems to be where everything else comes from

and if i can use the power for just one of the headlights in the stock configuration to trigger the relay

also does anyone know how to override the fog lights so that they can be on when the brights are on.

  12. Im thinking about putting relays in my headlight circut to get the power all i have to do is tap in to the positive from the battery and ground to the body. And i sould be able to trigure the relay with the leads going to one of the head lights right now correct?

  13. i was reading the how to on the cherokee springs and saw that 88 mentioned needing coil spring spacers to help with the lift in the rear of a 4 door pathfinder with tire carrier. i looked for these online and had a hard time finding coil spacers for the pathfinder are there diffrent spacers that should be used also he mentioned not being able to put some kind of retainer back on after the cherokee springs were installed. but i dont quite understand what he is talikng about. and i also had a hard time finding rough country UCA's for a pathfinder i found plety for a hardy boy but they only came in a kit for the truck. is there a site that i should check for theese parts

  14. so the tighter the torsan bar the higher the front end sits and if i get new A arms. and how much of a problem will leaving the stock shocks in the back cause id like to replace the shocks but wont have the money right away. Are those Cherokee coils from the front or the back of the jeep and could i take shocks off of the jeep to use in place of the shocks that i have in the back of the pathfinder

  15. what are my options for a suspention lift on a wd21 pathfinder i have seen A arms and spacers but i dont have a great understanding of the suspention in the front of the pathfinder if people could spell out options what they require and what they cost that would be great

    Thanks

    Dave
