  1. No issues lining up the tc. Went in pretty smooth.
  2. I did an engine swap, after the beast sat for 2+ years (timing belt...). Before the swap, the tranny was slow to engage in drive when cold, then thunk, it went. After the engine swap, no more hesitation when cold, but I only had 1st and 3rd gears. I was hoping it was the solenoid pack, since I found some at a local pick and pull, but it looks like it may be deeper. Any chance this ring, or whatever caused it to break, could be related to my lack of 2nd and OD? On more tidbit - when I pulled the tranny computer, and drove while I forgot it wasn't connected, the tranny started in second. I stopped and reconnected the computer and back to 1st and 3rd.
  3. Thanks for checking - it does look like a thrust washer of some sort. I was missing 2nd and OD, so that prompted me to pull the pan. My solenoid self check passed, but i wanted to see if I could spot something obvious before pulling the tranny.
  4. I know it's not good to have anything in your pan, but can anyone identify this plastic ring that was broke in half? I will be planning a rebuild shortly.
