My 97 does the same thing sometimes when shifting into reverse. It will sometimes judder the car really bad and the car has died a few times from it.

The guy that recently looked at it said to put the stock intake box back on and that may or may not fix the check engine light. He has been the service manager at my uncles Nissan Dealership for 25 years and is really knowledgable. Unfortunately I don't have the stock one around anymore and cant find it online anywhere, and there are no junkyards around that have a pathy. I currently have a short ram intake which in my opinion would not cause the p0400 code.

I am having the same exact issue as you! Had 2 different guys check it out. I have an aftermarket cone style air intake. After the 2nd guy checked it out and tried coming up with a fix he said to put the stock airbox on. Did you ever find a fix?

20mpg would be amazing!! Haha before the hubs I got 11-13 and 14 once driving all highway. After hubs im getting 14-17 average and even managed 18 a few times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
