  1. I was tightening the pump body to the bell housing and the rotor pump was not seated correctly and it split. The only damage is to the rotor pump which I'm sure is good on the old transmission. Which leads me to my original question. Is the pump from a 95 Nissan hardbody re4r01a the same as a pump from an 04 nissan xterra re4r01a? I would think they are but I won't pull the existing trans till this weekend and am trying to figure out if I need to source a rotor pump beforehand.
  2. No. The pump is mated to the backside of the bellhousing
  3. I have an odd question. I have a 95 hardbody auto and am in the process of replacing it with an 04 xterra transmission. Problem is the front pump on the xterra is broken. Will the pump off the 95 work? Thanks
