I can't seem to figure out a name for this part i need. From my Haynes I believe it to be called the "shift lever link" or "shift link". But when I go online to try to order the part I can't seem to track it down. It is a link right behind the transmission mount attached to what i believe to be the shift lever. Looks like all other stabilizer links. About 5-6 in long. Trying to figure out how to post a photo here...
Looking to replace it because it is super wobbly if you move it back and forth. I am under the impression that most links have to be pretty stiff to do the job?
Trying to designate a problem from a noise. Sounds like something heavy is bouncing around when i go over bumps. Doing the transmission mount this week. Would like to replace this at the same time. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
