Here is the midway point of putting the rack on! Still need to be prepped and painted. Anybody know where to buy those jack nuts so I don't have to pull the headliner. (Decided that's to much work..lol!) Still need to fab blocks for the rear mounts.

Like the idea of a solar panel. Have a pic where it was mounted?Added a solar panel charger from harbor freight, and bought a new cobra 29 Ltd multi led CB radio. Got a great deal on it. Normally cost $159 got it for $75 brand new, and still getting a $20 refund. Check out your local Love's truck stop. I am still working on getting the time to complete the process of adding the front brush guard

Finally got started on the xterra roof rack on my R50. Been so busy at work, I haven't had much time. Detailed write up to follow in the next week or so.

These are my everyday bags that I keep in my pathy at all times. Better safe than sorry. Same setup in all of our cars.

Lubricated all door hinges. No more squeaks. Also picked a Reese 3 trailor hitch with 2 hitch balls for $60 on craigslist. Installing tonight.

Thats one long a$$ drive!

Never armor all. I use turtle wax trim restore on tires and trim. After It dries its like a matte finish and dark. It's not hard to keep your paint nice. As green machine just prooved you don't need to spend a lot on wax. Just avoid armor all.

Shinyyyyyyyyyy. Mine only shines like that when I waste $20 wax on it
Lol!Turtle Wax Express Shine$6, at Walmart. Its a pathfinder not a luxury car. But she sure is pretty!!

Yea, thats what he told me. Ill be sure to check before hand.wow if he can get that much he maybe upgrading the crystal or power module. Just ask to see it on the meter along with the swr reading. Lower the number the better for swr 0-2 at max.

Thats awesome that your range is that far. Im a beginner when it comes to radios. So hopefully this we be a great starter radio. Eventually Ill graduate to something more when the time comes. 6-8watts would be the max huh. They guy doing said 10-12. How can I be sure?welcome. My first c.b. radio as a truck driver was a cobra 19. Great little work horse. Good idea to get it p/t will get better performance. Just a FYI that radio has smaller crystals than most, might be able to get a few extra watts. Probably get 6-8 whereas a bigger one you could get upwards of 20 watts. Hope you have fun with it. Being up in the mountains you can get some fun skipping action on clear nights. I was talking to a guy in California while I was on top of Loveland pass in colordo last week 11000 ft level.

My wife picked me up a Cobra19 ultra 3 from walmart For xmas last year. I wanted something compact that would fit in my center console. Taking the cb to a shop to "P&T" it. Thanks I will ground the mount tonight.Mount will ground itself if you have it screwed into metal, however you will find that the c.b. will have a much better swr reading and stronger signal if you do ground the mount. What kinda c.b. do you run? Myself run a galaxy dx959 with standard and upper/lower side band's for a total of 120 channels.

Early morning fix. Broke my magnetic cb antenna. On the roof so now I installed a firestik mount on rear and picked up 4ft firestik. My question is does this need to be grounded or Is the mount become ground?

Same here! Timing belt all the way down is golden! Come on 250k miles....lolFired her up for the first time in a year, cranked first time. She got a new timing belt, water pump, belts, full tune. Then a good wash, cut all new mats out of commercial walk off mat material. Very happy she's running again!'

Haha....I got DN1.!

Yours looks a tad bit darker. The green just looks good with amber lights. It was either my green machine or a black QX4Nice ride, I like the color.. Actually, yours is a different green compared to mine. Mine is more of an army green.

Cleaned up engine bay. Pulled a bug guard from junkyard for $10 and sprayed left over vht nite shade from previous project. Also replaced rear lower trailing arms. Death wobble gone gone gone!!!

Thanks guys for all your input. 32" will probably be my biggest size. If i can add a jack and gas tank to stock tire rack with a 32". That would be great. Maybe im just over thinking this. Just wanna do it right the first time. Thanks again

Stock hood. Its just a spray on truck liner. I like the texture of the spray liner but i want a wet look to it. Gonna re spray it and try a clear on it to and see if it sticks
