  1. Rebelord, thanks for the info. I just wasn't sure due to the fact people keep saying only z31 CLSDs can be swapped. I was planning on shimming it to provide more lock. Any chance you know off hand if it can be plunked right in place of the stock one, using the same shafts?
  2. Hi guys. I can't seem to find a straight answer regarding a front VLSD Swap. I currently have a R200 VLSD out of a S14 silvia from japan. I was going to put it into my 240sx but never got around too it. Now, will this swap into the front carrier on my wd21 pathy? It is an R200 am i correct?
  3. So here it is. I've inspected took apart and regreased each auto hub. Hubs are not the issue. I then noticed that one cv axle was not spinning while in 4x4 or when turning the front driveshaft in 4x. Now, Ive unbolted each axle from the diff flange. Even still the passenger side flange does not spin when in 4x. I then spun the flange by hand, and it will spin the other one in the opposite direction. So it seems as if when the front drive shaft spins, the passenger side one stays still. Diff will be coming out tomorrow, what do you guys think it is?
  4. Yes but wouldn't an open diff entail the wheels spinning opposite ways? This isn't happening. There isn't noise coming from the diff.
  5. Hey there, I'm asking a question for a friend regarding a 95 Isuzu rodeo. Basically 4x4 won't engage. The front driveshaft spins when in 4 low and hi, the hubs lock which in turn spin the cv axels when off the ground. But the front diff doesn't feel connected. With the hubs locked and 4 low engaged, I spin the front tire and the one on the other side doesn't move. Could the diff be bad or something disconnected inside?
  6. Hi there, Picked up a 91 SE for 900$, Fixed all the rust threw some 31" tires on there and wheeled her as is! So far its been nothing but fun times. I live in BC Canada.
  7. Hi there, Old thread, but I thought I'd reply here since the topic is already started. I am looking to lift the rear end and am wondering if the F-350 4X4 shocks are needed or is it the 2WD shocks? Does it matter? the 2wd ones are half the price.
