  1. Also where would this fuel pressure regulator vacuum line be located?
  2. Yea. Thats the one. How do you do the idle relearn when the car won't run?
  3. So I replaced that gasket for the throttle body. Now the car won't even run. It ranks up and shuts off within a half a second. Before I replaced this gasket, the car would run in emergency mode just fine. I have nothing now. It seems to me like its not getting fuel at this point..... Anyone have any ideas? The only way the car runs at this point is if I smash down on the gas pedal.
  4. So I finally located the general area of the vacuum leak. I sprayed the throttle body area down and each time the spray hits this area the RPMs increase. Its doing it near the back and top right of the throttle body. I have read somewhere it could be the intake manifold gasket.... Does anyone know what I should be looking for here?
  5. I posted here a few weeks ago about possible MAF issues. I have ruled that problem out. I was at auto zone today and they guy pointed out a loud hissing sound coming from in from the back side of the engine bay on the drivers side. So I am thinking this is why the motor won't idle unless I unplug the MAF. Does anyone have any tips or clues on what to look for here? I am by myself for the next few days and have no one to hold down the gas pedal while I spray the area looking for leaks.....
  6. And my mechanical / electrical experience is bare minimum. I do all the work to my Jeep Wrangler and keep her running smoothly. This Pathfinder however seems to be my nemesis when it comes to mechanical work. Electrical experience is next to none.
  7. I don't have a multimeter. The two codes that they read at Advanced Auto are P1130 and P0102. I went to the Nissan Dealership today and they would not give me any useful info other than "bring your vehicle to us". This thing seriously cranks, idles for two seconds around the 1000 tmp range, then drops down to about 500 rpms on the idle, then it sputters and dies. Runs less than 4 seconds on average. Everytime I unplug the MAF it idles like a champ.
  8. My girlfriends 02 Pathfinder has been acting horrible for a while. I initially change out the plugs and gave it a basic tune up. Still did nothing to help it out. I went to Advanced Auto and had them put the computer on it. The computer said the problem was the MAF. I unplugged the MAF sensor and the vehicle drove perfectly in fail safe mode, except it wouldn't go over 2800 rpms. I have now tried three different MAFS, including the one people used for the Maxima (Which is discussed in a sticky on this very forum). It still does not work. It cranks up, idles for a second, then shuts off. I am beyond losing my mind with this vehicle and have no clue what to do at the point. Could someone please help me out?
