I should clarify... I meant when I search for 95 pathfinder keyless entry or remote these are the results it gives me. The question still stands though, are they compatible?

Hey all, I have recently acquired a (new to me) Pathfinder that does not have the keyless entry remote/fob and I would like to get a new remote for it. the question I have is the FCC ID for an original remote was G57NTX318 and when I search on ebay It keeps offering me a generic aftermarket remote with the ID KOBUTA3T and it says its compatible with the 95 Pathfinder. If thats the case why couldnt I just buy an original used KOBUTA3T instead of the generic aftermarket and use that? Is this something I can do? Thanks for any input!
