  1. Hi everybody! New to this forum, but I expect I'll be pretty active on here over the next few years. Good to see some info about mathbinders still exists. Anyway, the reason I made this thread. my 98 stick-shift is slipping at high-gear/speed when I push on the gas. I looked around a bit and found out that it means the clutch is losing it's surface material and it's going to disappear real fast now that it's started. I'm not sure what to look for as a replacement though, I called to a few shops around town and nobody has anything in stock, and even if they did, I'm looking at $1000+ just to get it fixed professionally. I'm left with no choice but to buy one online and do it myself, but I'm not too confident about opening up the underside and pulling things out. So what I'm looking for is recommendations on what kind of kit to buy, and some basic instructions on how to install it. Thanks very much in advance!
