I really like the desert tan. Like a military vehicle look. I dont know how that would look in the mountains. You might want to stick with a red so you won't have different color jambs.

I never knew that about the axle shafts. I thought the viscous style wasn't good because if one wheel came off the ground It would act as a open diff. I was wondering if the shimming would fix that. I guess I need to do research on the axle shafts. I'm picturing taking my front end apart after hours of work and trial and error putting it back the way I found it.

So I understand the vlsd is not a good type, but what if I could get my hands on one that is "shimmed". Would it make a differents?? It would be out of a 91 300zx. Would it be a bad idea to trust someone and their shimming?

I put 31's on from factory 235's. Noticed from what a read a 7% difference. I pulled a blue 18 tooth out of a 94? with factory 31's. I noticed it had a cable. My 95 has wires can I still make it work or keep looking at the yard??

I should of thought about it before hand. Hind sights 20 20. I was wanting to put it in this week. I hate getting new toys and I can't play with them. Thanks guy. I'm sure I'll have more question to follow.

I plan on changing out the drum brake open rear for a disc brake LSD. I had the yard cut one out for me, but they cut the parking brake cables. Can I use my drum brake cables? Do I find another set in a junk yard. The parts story sells one, is it the same? Also this is my first post I just signed up. I bought I pathfinder 6 months ago and became obsessed with it.
