    My 1999 Pathfinder SEL has been SO dependable until the last few months. It's a V6. I believe it says "SEL" although I can't check because it's in the shop. I have had the rocking side-to-side issue at highway speeds and my mech is changing out the ?trailing arms? and bushings because of info I got online, although he says they don't look that bad. My only other problem is that the clock/radio station readout got blinky; now it seems to have blinked off for good. I'm guessing it's a short. I am no kind of mechanic!

    Hi! I'm delighted to find this site, but I wonder if anyone is still out there? I'm no mechanic but would like to be able to talk with my wonderful long-time general mechanic about issues that have had us stumped. I've had the rocking side-to-side issues at highway speeds and we are trying the solution posted here some time back. My Pathy is 15 years old and it has been the best ride ever--until just the past few months. I'd like to hold on to it a little longer--it only has 129,000 miles on it. Thanks!
