Glad to have you here in the forums!

Surely it have to be the ignition system. Start with the coil and distributor. Also check the fuel delivery.
-
Hmm in my idea there won't be no problem installing the bumper, but could be the bracket which may be a slight hindrance, but can be altered easily.
-
If its loosing fluid, surely there is a leak somewhere also sure there is some air in the system.

Courtesy Parts is a Nissan dealership...the parts should be genuine OEM parts.
Got that thanks!
-
Just checked the site, these are replacement parts am I right not oem?
-
I believe the auto mode will not work on your transfer case as I think it relies on the abs ''ring with teeth'' to detect wheel slippage and therefore activate the 4hi on the fly... direct 4hi or 4lo should still work though.
He is absolutely correct with his statement. That is why you need to figure out how to fix the ABS.
-
That could also be the culprit. A loose MAF connection.

Only go for OEM or get a Gates brand for the belt and the rest of the parts would be OEM.
-
Could be a simply dirty abs sensor or busted. Run a diagnostic and see the error codes. About the tranny it won't affect it.
-
Hmm sounds like a fuel starvation issue. Check the fuel filter and pump.

Just keep us updated...

Also have you inspected for any loose mud guard or flaps lately? That could also the culprit of the strange noise.

Carb cleaner on occasion or a degreaser available at local auto parts

Thanks man really appreciate it!

More or less the motor produces the sound also check for other defective suspension parts. Vibration could also be due to a worn engine support.

You and I are thinking along the same lines. I was planning on replacing the lines this weekend........I did look at them today....the vacuum line on the manifold side of the BPT valve seems to have a restrictor in it, sot of looks and feels like a little ball bearing, but it has a tiny hole in it....it is passing a vacuum signal. Q..is this normal? Could this be a mistake that a mechanic made on previous work?
Also....there is a metal line running from the EGR back to the bottom of the BPT valve. Is it worth a try to take this off and spray some seafoam inside both the EGR and the BPT valve?
Seafoam?

Beside seafoam do you use any other products?
-
Do you guys use any chemical that could safety clean the EGR and the housing it self?
-
If it had them they would have been mounted under the bumper. Also you would have a switch on the left side of the dash.

He is correct. There should be a switch mounted in the dash area for those fog lamps.

Squizz welcome to the forum. Surely you will learn a lot about your beloved pathfinder here in the club.

Seems like it needs a lot of man hours in completion of the maintenance and repair. If you need any help we are happy to help you out.

On the WD21s they hinge on the RR corner. If yours didn't come with one there is a thread on how to install a stock carrier. I believe they all have the mounting locations peened on the inside of the panel (from the inside). The hinge nor the latch actually contact the bumper at all. Here is a pic of mine after I installed a tube bumper and it didn't affect the tire carrier at all.
Sorry for the OT, but good looking rims and mud tires!

Yes you are correct! 5523Pathfinder.

I agree there should be a welcome thread that should be noticeable to all newbies and they should be mandated to post a welcome remark.
-
That could also be the culprit. But before anything else check the easiest and most obvious part in the engine that could be the reason of the problem.
