  1. Ok. So I am starting to think lifting my 2000 R50 was a bad idea. 2" AC lift installed and now I am having nothing but problems. All if the old suspension and steering components must not be able to handle the strain. My newest problem is I completely lost power steering now. The belt is good and tight on the pump. The fluid is not leaking and there is no whining or noises when turning. I am hoping it is not the rack and pinion but it isn't looking good. The steering is near impossible to turn side to side. Tie rods look good also. So any tips on how to check if the pump or rack is bad? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I Installed the 2" AC lift on my 2000 pathfinder this year. 14 years of northeast winters. I used PB blaster and a 1/2 inch drive ratchet with a long pole as a breaker bar. I got lucky and the bolts didn't break. Using heat as Stioc said also helps prevent them to snap. I didn't have a torch handy though. I had no problem with the top bolts. They came off easy. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Andy's Auto Sport did that back order crap to me too with springs.. I would avoid them as well. 4x4 parts have good customer service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. How important is it? I had to take it off to bleed the brakes. It was leaking and no good. It costs almost $300 to replace and I can live without it. So I just bypassed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. How do you know the flex lines are good? Are you getting fluid through the flex lines? If not, the flex lines can collapse inside and you can't tell. I know. This happened to me once. Just go down the line from the master cylinder. Disconnect a line then try and bleed. If the fluid passes through, then you know that section is good. Go all of the way until you reach the calipers. I had to do that and that's how I found out the flex line was bad on one side. It would barely let any fluid through. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes I just installed The AC lift on a 2000 SE and you do not need different rims. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Pain in the butt to do. I just did mine and they suck. Just pay a mechanic if you can afford it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I changed the struts at the same time. I found out what it was. I forgot to tighten the lug nuts all of the way on drivers side. That's what happens when you rush I guess. I was so eager to drive it after the lift I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ok. So I installed the 2"AC lift. Just took it for a ride and now the front end is wobbling pretty bad. I have to take it for alignment tomorrow. I am hoping this fixes it because it feels unsafe to drive to fast. I remember when I was installing the springs and new KYB struts the entire rotor and brake assembly was sliding off. Is it possible to damage anything from them just sliding or is the alignment going to fix it? It wasn't like this before. Thanks for any help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes. You are right. I could not see his signature. I have factory 16's on mine and I wanted to know how big of a tire I could use without wheel spacers? 165 75 16's? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi. I just lifted my r50 with 2" AC lift and need to get bigger tires. My question is What size rim and tires are you running now? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
