Cheers. Im no expert at the electrical/wiring sides of things. Wiring looks good to me. Say I was to get some one to look at it, who would you recommend?

Hi guys Just replaced old fuel pump. Ran mint. Cut out yesturday and wouldnt fire up again. Ran few test, turned key on/off to hear for pump, not hummin. Checked wiring, no corrosion or breakages bit dirty but good. Changed fuses and it fired up. Drove abit and it @!*% itself again and started up? Any help??

Thanks for the reply I ended up buying a new fuel pump and replaced with the old and wouldnt you know fired up straight away. the following day went on a drive and it cut out! Turned key on/off to hear if the pump was working, and it wasnt. Checked wiring, there were no corrosion or breakages anywhere that I could see (no electrical expert). Checked fuses they were good. Gave it another turn over and it fired up again? Im losing power to the pump somewhere. Any advice?

Hows it guys My pathfinder 88 has completely stopped working due to no fuel getting through to carby. Prior to it @!*%tin itself, it at times would cut out whilst driving. I checked both fuel lines, good. Fuses, good. Carby, good enough. Fuel filter looked ancient so I replaced it with a new one. Once I replaced fuel filter few weeks ago it run perfectly right up until friday lastweek. I disconnected inlet to fuel filter and noticed that there was no fuel through line. Seems like im losing pressure somewhere. Im thinking fuel pump might be buggered. If anyone can help please reply. Cheers
