Hey guys,
I started a r50 facebook page! Entitled: R50 Nissan Pathfinders Club (96-04 )
Please join and tell all your R50 friends as well.
Do not mix this group up with the page entitled R50 Nissan Pathfinder.
Post pics of your rig, sell parts, share information and whatever else R50 related.
Here is the link below.

Looks like a pain to take the grill off !

Be careful with the 15's. I heard only certain 15" wheels will clear the calipers. I went with the 16 and happy with it.
-
I still have to order the rear coil 1.50 inch spacers this week, so add another $60 or so
-
Thanks Austin Henry, I'm going to try and have discount tires send me the rims with the correct backspacing first, if not ill order the spacers you mentioned.
IPATH, for the struts, shocks, camber adjustment bolts, springs and labor.... I think I spent about $800

Hey guys, my receprtion on my 03' LE is horrible, the radio and all is stock. I would like to replace the antenna with a stubby that will screw right in with no mods, anyone know where I can find one?
-
The problem is the top is the tire is maybe 1/4 of an inch from the coil with my camber still being off, once they align it the proper way, it's gonna touch the coil without even being in motion, so i need a wheel spacer, so it doesnt rub the coil.
-
the tire and strut move the same..... the part that would rub that is. Is it rubbing? Or are you just thinking it GOING to rub? because it wont. or rather shouldn't
whats ur email, ill send you a pic and explain...

looks good! ill do mine today
-
Thanks for in info AZ pathfinder, Ill get started on mine, how do you get the 3 bars mounted to the roof off?
-
Plastidip hahahahaha That's what I used and it turned out great. But if that really rubs you the wrong way, then this stuff called Krylon Fusion works really well on plastics. I bonds with them and doesn't fade, very popular on Xterras to fix that matte trim. I used it on my Lincoln's faded plastic and worked out well.
any prep work to spray the grill with the plastidip? or just clean it and spray it.
I used it once on old rims on my WD-21

Anyone know if the qx4 grill will fit in a 03 path?
Or what's the best way to black out my front grill, please nobody sugest plastidip. Not using it.

I am in Central Jersey, Monmouth county. Can you recommend any good trail or offroading areas?

I have 32" with the OME coils and they barely fit. Had to do some plastic molding with a heat gun and some cutting. Rubbed on hard turns.
What is the best way to do the plastic molding with the heat gun?

Thought I'd drop in on this as I also dropped my roof rack lower towards the roof, to eliminate that stilt look. I used the idea that Stioc had in using the three middle lower bars from the roof rack. I really like how it turned out. its held down with 9 worm pipe clamps, and replaced the knob style adjuster screws that you turn to tighten the bars on the roof track with hex bolts and lock washers. Enjoy!!

Can someone tell me where to find a stubby antenna for my 03 r50? My reception is horrible and plus it will look better.
-
I just got the rims, discount tire direct messed up twice in one order, they told me it would clear with my rim tire setup, like you said, I can maybe clear a quarter in there, is there a way to post a pic on here so I can show you? The top of the tire barely clears the bottom of the coil, during up a bump, the tire would go up, and obviously that part of the tire is wider so I am concerned it will rub...
-
So I'm piecing together my OME Lift- already have MD front coils, and ordering 1" spacers up front. I'm going with the standard MD springs out back (should, on the likely chance the Jeep springs not fit.) I'm planning on converting my brake lines to braided Stainless, and my question is should I buy stock length or 2in extension?
Thanks!
I just did OME lift medium duty all around last week. PM me so I can give you some tips.

I run 1 1/2 inch adapters on mine with my 17" rims, works great. You will need to trim however. Even with a 2" lift.
who sells the adapters?

Anyone know if the qx4 grill will fit on a 03' r50?
-
Hey guys, finally lifted my 03' LE. OME Medium duty springs and KYB shocks and struts all around. Having a clearance issue as expected where my tire is about 1/4 from the front coils. It will defanitely rub on a bump. Anyone know of good spacers that will fit perfectly and not give me any issues?
-
I have an 03' LE.
Love the way your basket sits, low and sleek.
Can you explain to me how to set it up and what parts I need.
Private message me.
thanks
Grant
