      so you can replace sections cheaply with drinking straws

      The stock exhaust flows best at low rpm for more torque. The exhaust valves in the engine are tiny so the sub 2" exhaust accommodates the engine well. The best sizes are either 2.25" or 2.50" in my experience if you want more power up higher but you will lose a little low end torque.
