Well that did not work brackets fine. Seriously nobodys ever encountered this problem? I guess it's just my tough luck.Strange day's Indeed.I think a white witch owned my pathfinder previously.YES definitly. But could not turn down that cobalt green pearl paint.I'm IRISH.She must have put a spell on me.Ha,Ha.....

I dont know a lot of those companys will tell you anything just to make a buck years ago it was putting magnets on fuel lines.Anybody remember that one? Ha,Ha,The best fuel miliage is to have engine breathe better headers help a good exhust system tuned up good oxygen sensors in good working order.I'd start there first but remember pathy's aren't known for great gas milage I only get around 15 to 20 mpg if I'm lucky.

Holy crap is right $334.00 is a bit pricey anybody look into street glow light products at napa auto stores they have good selection of LED lighting they even sell headlight wiring harness upgrade kits to beef up those stock pathfinders wires.

I took my panel off.Hey guys how do I open the rear door on my 89 path (pwr locks/mirrors) As I unlock it with thee key and it just wont open from outside? How could I open it from the inside panel to see what is really wrong there and fix it. Thanks
-
Sorry should have specified rear hatch door will check bracket to see if it is engaging the rod. Am I the only one with this type of problem? Any other feed back would be helpful.thanksrear door meaning the back or side door? The lock in the rear hatch door has a small bracket attached to the lock cylinder so when you turn the key to unlock it the bracket pushes on a rod to unlock the door, maybe the metal bracket is not engaging the rod??

Hey am I the only one with rear door latch problem's? Mine won't lock sometimes, then will lock and I cant get it open unless I open rear window reach in and turn little plastic screw adjuster.I took back panel off just so I could access it.Is adjuster moving on it's own so it goes out of adjustment? Is this common problem? My pathfinder running well just trying to work out some small bug's like this one.

Ford, did somebody say FORD!! It stands for Fixed or repaired Daily.Sorry never been much of a ford person had a couple but did not have good luck with them. Was a CHEVY man until my pathfinder. Only a oxymoron would drive one of those land yacht's.

You are so right about that B they dont call it devils slide for nothing. I also lived in pacifica back in1981.Stop watching Tungsten_skull that's on the dangerous hippie state of Kalifornia. Gouge out your eyes now...
Damn!! Still, the number of takes is shown in the previous tire tracks and the camera cuts. Amazing driving, but he wouldn't last long on the cliffs of HWY 1.

Big shout out and thank's to all you great member's who gave me the best advice on this problem. It is now fixed yes fixed! And it ony cost get this $ 5.99 at ye old autozone parts shop.It turned out to be the tail - light / stop -light bulb socket a cheap fix for sure.To bad I spent days checking leads and ground wires but had to be sure and like I said I'm no electrisian can't spell either.Ha,Ha. The cause was back quarter panel rusted pretty bad,IOWA winters, road salts etc....And small hole allowing moisture and mud and junk up into tail-light compartment and corroded the socket it did not look that bad to me at first but then what do I know right. I am so a newbie to pathfinders but thank's to you all I am learning FAST!! THANKS AGAIN>IOWA<JACK......

PETE, I am a newbie and you are so right I have received nothing but great help from old timers and new guys alike the camaraderie is awesome and could'nt have found a better site.I just picked up a 1995 pathfinder xe in may.Glad to hear from you if you can don't get rid of your pathy.I have a feeling you would miss it. Am I right,I have grown really found of mine.anyway over and out.jack....Hello everyone. I haven't been around in way too long, but I wanted to say hello to the best forum on the web and let you know my Pathy is alive and still serving me wonderfully even after all the abuse and miles of mud and asphalt I've put her through. The tranny seems to be getting rough, and I'm considering taking off all of her black panther armor and sahara bar and putting it up for sale, as the new house and job just don't let me have the time to get her dirty anymore. Anyway, hello, hope the old timers are doing well and that the newbs are carrying on the tradition of camaraderie and good heartedness that made this sight great.
Pete

Right side was coroded pretty good.Maybe it's the bulb fixture it'self.Has anybody ever run into this before?
-
Corner lights are working and dash light comes on too.Do your front corner lights come on? They share a contact in the headlight switch with the tail lamps. If the markers don't work either, clean out your headlight switch. If they do, then you can narrow it down a bit.
-
yea .fuses all good dash fuses and under hood fuses.checked the switch on steering colum to its good to go.I hope it's not fusible links.Do the dash lights work? Actually, you did mention that you checked all of the fuses.
-
NO bulbs are good.I replaced with new ones, now have running lights but when I step on brake pedal the right brake light goes off. Just the right brake light.weird huh remember both running lights are working left sides fine. Are the bulbs burned out?
-
Headlights come on but no tail lights.turn signals work fine so do hazards and brake lights.Fuses all check out okay.Perplexing? Any suggestions would be a great help. Can turn a wrench well but electrical is not a strong point.Thanks.
