  1. I miss the pathy, the ride up the side of that mountain was great.
  2. actually there was no way I could take the rims off the altima , some strange reason the towing company said i couldnt take them off, it would've been hard though, because although the front are fine the rear passenger side rim was litteraly hugged by the fender and as the rear drivers rim was broken, a giant chunk of the rim was torn off. right before I hit the guardrail , it bounced off the curb and broke the lip off, too bad also cuz i could've resold them for some money. Now all I have is 4 stock 16" SE altima wheels in the garage and one spare tire .
  3. thanks for all the welcomes guys and NismoSkyZ yea its the factory Grill guard , came with the truck when I bought it and looks pretty nice on it.
  4. hello everyone , my names carlos and i've recently become a member and an owner of a 1998 pathfinder 4x4 or R50 as im reading on this site. I'm glad I've stumbled onto this site because I was already a part of Nissanclub.com but they lack a serious amount of information on nissan trucks , more of a car site. My pathfinder is the first truck I've ever owned , other than that I've always had cars. The only other truck I've driven is my friends 1996 Chevy Blazer and the only other experience with a large vehicle is my fathers 05 Odyssey. As I said before I've mainly owned cars , I used to own a 2000 Mazda 626 Es and than bout 8 months later I traded it in and bought a 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 SE. So I've been around nissan's before and I am quite happy with them and although I never planned on owning a truck , nor getting rid of my altima, I had no choice. on January 18 2007 , I went with my friend to go buy snow tires for the factory rims and put my other rims away for the winter. As I was returning home to go to another shop , I was making a left turn and struck by a ford econoline van. the car was thrown 34ft across the road , smashing the drivers side into a guardrail (thank god we didn't flip over it considering we were on a overpass) after the guardrail we flew another 21ft and finally stopped at the exit ramp. My Altima was considered totalled. Left without a vehicle , I went ahead and searched for another vehicle but was actually looking for an SUV due to safety reasons. at the time I considered myself lucky that nothing happened to my friend and all I got from the accident was a mouth full of glass. So I searched for an SUV and stumbled across the 98 white pathfinder. I bought the pathfinder for $5300 with 100,300 miles on it and the inside was very clean and in good shape. This is now my everyday car and I am incredibly happy with it although I do miss the acceleration I used to have with my previous cars. This vehicle has really made me happy due to the recent snow storm we had over here and my town is all hills. 4x4 engaged I had no problem going anywhere. I hope to stick around in this forum and learn alot more with the help of members.
