  2. my steering wheel is on the right side ....... ....... hahaha shes just done 230500kms . ........ not alot to be fair ..... she cleans up quite well when i get a chance to clean her ! regards economy its pretty good . just sum 31 in muddies on it and some spares in the boot...... nefarious ............ buy it ......... you cant go wrong ..... . these are little monsters !!! . its goes every where my mates patrols and land cruisers go ........ to the point it suprises them .... !
  3. yep mine was doing the same at maybe 30kph....... wound up the torsion bars and away it went ...front end sag !!! but . i will be upgrading the front end in due course
  4. ok boys n girls . there seems to be no provision for a passenger "OH @!*% " bar. so what have you done to get round this ...... my option was to get a 1990 patrol grab handle and mount it to some 3mm steel plate . the studs are not long enough to bolt directly through the dash and welding longer studs wouldve been a no no. then just bolt it to the dash above the glove box ....... its not pretty but it does the job ........
  5. well the mrs has been askin (moaning) that she has nothing to grab hold of when were off roading so since there is no "OH @!*%" grab handle i thought i best do summat about it . . i got a grab handle out of a 1990 patrol that my mate was breaking..... . looked at it . the studs to mount it are far too short to go through the teranno dash...... so its a case of make up a bracket and just bolt it to the dash ....... not the prettiest thing but it does the job ......... and for the life of me i cant post a picture of it . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. good point . will have to give that one some thought over a few cold ones . cheers bud

  12. being the new boy in town im shocked to see that no one had told you that if your not sure then dont drive it till its been fixed....... or proper inspected........ to do a 2 hr drive and break down due to a using a little common sence ..... ends up being VERY EXPENCIVE or life threatening

  14. well guys as the topic says ...... ive got a heavy duty trolly jack ,tow rope, socket set(soon to be upgraded with basic spanners and screwdrivers etc) so may well be a cantilever toolbox and also a tyre pump to install...... was thinking about removing the left and right hand speaker pods to gain the extra 6 inches either side about the wheel wells. then mounting the jack on the LHS..... ( were RHD over here) aswell as the tyre pump.... basically tidy it up . and then see if i can find the mounts for the speakers that are in the roof console with some nice 6x9s in it ... also does anybody know what size the front speakers are befpre i start tearing apart ........ any picture of your set up wud be much aprreciated ....... cheers guys n gals wayneo
