[Pathfinder Ring & Pinion]

I have looked around alot for an answer to this question:

'What differential Crown and pinion gears are in what year/model pathfinders'

with little success to find a SOLID answer.

 

I currently run a 1994 nissan pathfinder XE with an LSD, Manual, 4WD. i believe i am running 4.6 gears? i am not certain.

 

A friend of mine, runs a 1989 pathfinder XE with an LSD, Manual, 4WD. we are both unsure to the gears in this.

 

The 89' came with 29.5" tires when it was stock and new. the 94 came with 31".

 

If someone could help me/us out, it would be greatly apreitiated.

You are mistaken. You don't have to move anything with a 2" BL. As for a 3" BL you do need to readjust the cruise control. Relocate the steering pump reservoir and lengthen you fuel fill hose. A radiator drop down bracket is recommended but not necessary.

 

As far as a pan hard bracket Calmini made mine, but the holes were off about 1/16th of an inch. I drilled them out. This helps correct the angle so the vehicle doesn't try and pull to one side when flexing.

 

 

I am looking into doing a 6" overall suspension lift for my 1994 XE. 3" body and 3" lift. what difficulties beyond just installing the shocks/UCA's/Springs/Torsion bars are there?

I have the same question, only i am wondering about safety. will safety decline giving me the go ahead with a 3" suspension lift, or would they still give it to me?
