Put a new set of 31x10.5R15 Dick Cepek Crusher tires on. So far good on the pavement, and they look good.

I have an alpine unit with sirius/XM and replaced the stock speakers. The paper was gone when i took out the stock speakers.

I'm going to take an A-piller and sent it to him to get a more realistic price and to see if he can put 3 gauge pods in and still utilize a space for a tweeter, so that's still an option maybe. I'll be sending that off maybe sometime this week, unless someone near Durham, North Carolina wants to go to the company to let them see what they are working with.
I live about 2 hours from there but I do not have a extra pillar if that helps at all. Do you know if they need a pillar out of the truck or would it be more helpful to see one in a truck.

With your hubs locked in the wheels will turn all the 4 wheel drive parts. That means that front differential will be turning and your front drive shaft will turn even with 4 wheel not engaged.

I would defiantly be interested in one of these. I was trying to figure out where to put a oil pressure and volt meter gauge.

I wonder if the knock sensor code is old. About a month ago I replaced the exhaust studs as I had 3 broken studs.
-
I pulled the codes from my ECU today.
34 Knock Sensor.
35 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor.
The truck seams to run fine. The engine light will come on when cruising around 2000 rpm sometimes. The thing is it is extremely intermittent.
Should I replace the sensors?
Where are they located?

the previous owner had 2 ground wires one that was connected to a air compressor and the battery and one just hanging, I disconncted the compressor and its ground cable and hooked up the other cable and what do you know, it starts alot easier. The starter seems to spins faster, that must have drained some of the power
Don't know that it drained the power. But a good ground is essential, a lot electrical problems can be linked to a bad ground or connection.

I had a similar issue with mine. Have you checked the fusible link? Mine had a loose connection and since I tightened the pins in it I have had no more issues. Another thing that I had was the negative connection to the battery. It was loose when the truck got hot. Seams like when there is a loose connection it will power all the accessory fine but when you try to start it the extra current draw the loose connection will cause a large voltage drop and the car cannot start.

The driver's side door controls are about half there. The door lock doesn't work as I've said before. It doesn't roll up the passenger window, but it rolls it down. Ideas?
I had the same problem with mine. I tried taking the controls apart and cleaning the contacts inside to some success. I noticed that there are some small plastic pieces inside that where badly worn so I ended up buying a new control panel from rockauto. I am now able to control all the windows perfectly.

Started to fix the broken exhaust manifold studs. Found 1 broken one on the passenger side and two on drivers side. Then I realized that the studs I picked up from Nissan where the wrong ones.

I definitely remember you! You had your family with you if I recall? My friends were making fun of me for getting all happy to see the two groups of Nissan's up there.
Yes that was me. That was or big year end club run. I think there was around 15 Nissan's there with NOAS. I just recently found this site am love it. Lots of great information.

If you were with that group from NOAS, I proabably talked to you. I was there last week and planned on wheeling my R50 but the timing belt had given me issues. Do you recall talking to a super jealous good looking bald guy riding in either a green/tan Chevy Blazer or standing in the back of a topless '76 Toyota Landcruiser (Not a Jeep on the tailgate) holding on to the roll bar?
I was with NOAS i think I do remember that group. I think you where talking to the truck in front of me. There where several pathy's in our group.

I am new to pathfinders but this is my second Nissan I also have a 83 720.I needed to get something that I could take the whole family with me. But now I love driving the pathfinder. I bought a 1994 SE Pathfinder 3 weeks ago and have already had it off road. I live in Kannapolis NC, I am already looking forward to taking it off road some more, and planning a lift with some bigger tires.

The control arms don't provide any lift. The lift is achieved by cranking the torsion bars. Replacing the upper control arms is done to correct the ball joint angle.
