Great job looking after this for us.

That looks sweet. Now I am getting exited.
What gauges are everyone planning on putting in?
-
Dowser,
I hope your daughter is getting better. The main priority has to be Family.
At this point I would have to say that a bit more delay is no big deal.

Welcome. Look in the garage section there is a thread on checking the codes.

Welcome. Lots of good help around here.

I would check the wires to the battery... I saw a car once, when the owner tried to start it, everything went blank inside. Turned out the ground cable to the battery was so loose you could wiggle it. Tightened that up and it cranked, started, all good. When there's just a tiny path for current, it can't pass enough to turn the starter.
I second this. Was one of the problems with mine when I got it.

The hayes manual for the 720 is the same one as for the wd21 pathfinder and hardbody's.

There is a relay for the fuel pump that is located in the foot well on the passenger side. Also check out http://www.720world.com. There is a ton of information on there and a few guys that know the 720's inside and out. The fuel pump is not inside the tank it is on the outside of the frame rail in front of the passenger rear tire. If you still have the original carb you will have a fuel filter in the carb and one before the fuel pump.

If i remember correctly there are not factory relays for the head lights. the factory system runs through the headlight switch only.

Nice find. Found out that mine was listed as reposed early in its life.
-
The previous owner replaced the fusible link (Green and black one) with a piece of wire stuffed into the connector and wrapped onto the battery post. It wasnt secured at all.

Love It.

You would have to use the Hardbody style parking brake. The Xterra has the parking brake under the dash.

Count me in.

18 miles each way, 25 min.

I would definitely bleed the system and see if that helps. It did help for a little while with mine but the symptoms returned. After changing the master and slave cylinders no more issues. My slave cylinder was not wet it was sucking air into the system.
-
Sounds like a clutch to me. Had the same problem, tried to bleed the system and could not get it to bleed. Ended up that the seal on the slave cylinder was leaking.

Someone tell me what those little clip like things on the left of the rim in the picture are? Bead locks? LoL I have no clue
Those would be weights.
Looks the same as mine. I noticed when I put new 31's on my pathfinder I had a rub when turning to full lock. But it turned out to be my mud flaps weren't attached correctly.
