So no one here seems to want to touch this type of work. After several $2000, $3000, and even a $6600 quote I have decided to sell the Pathfinder. I will not buy another Pathfinder again. I'm sure they are decent trucks, but I'm turned off now.. Going to look at the competition today.

I've sent an email to Kijiji, we'll see what they say. Also asked the seller for a refund, but no response (surprise surprise) I took a few quick iPhone pics, kind of hard to see, I'll try to get some better pics up soon.

OK got my first quote: $2000 from a welding / fabrication shop. That's not happening. Going for another quote today and tomorrow. I'm pretty close to giving up on this Pathfinder and buying something else.

In manitoba we can repair the frame, i just need to find someone who can (and who will) do it. Does anyone know someone in Maitoba who does this? I have a few good leads, but nothing definitive.

Well, the pathfinder failed the inspection. Rear frame rails are rusted to @!*%. Help guys, is there anything I can do to repair it?

Thanks everyone...The Pathfinder is going in today for it's provincial safety inspection. I'll let you know what happens.

It's coming from Ontario Canada. The seller has owned it for 11 years and says he has taken excellent care of it. The car Proof came back clean, passed it's recent emissions test, no accidents, pics look good. Paid under $3000 for it. Here is one of the pics the seller posted:

Hi all, just bought a 95 Pathfinder SE, still waiting for it to be shipped to me. Should get it by this weekend. I'm a little nervous about the frame but the seller says its OK and the truck is in great condition. We will see......
