  1. I've decided to go with the 3" BL mainly do to the fact that i don't want do the whole i wish i gone bigger if i got the 2".

I have already lengthed all my hoses 3"s minus the fuel filler so i can save some time once i get started so i should just have to extend the fuel filler lines, move the bumpers up and installed the spacers for the safety loops.

I know the Factory directions aren't the best for installing the lift so is there anything else that needs to be extended or moved that i haven't done yet.

Anything i can do now before the kit gets here would be a great time saver.

I know something has to be done with the brake lines in the engine bay i think but cant remember.

Hi, was wondering if you had this done - pics? I'm in the same boat debating both. I already have a SL (2.5 at front / 3 at rear) Thinking about a 2" BL, as I'm going continue with 31s and change the rims for more BS. Thanks, Dan.

  2. Thanks but any experience specifically to the BFG Rugged Terrains?

I had them as OEM on two previous trucks and didn't have any complaints with them. On both vehicles they did well in all 4 seasons; though not particularily good in deep mud etc. they were good in the snow, trail running and quiet on the hiway / no issues with hydroplaning. Both had good tread life and I swapped them out both times after 50,000 miles for the Bridgestone AT Revo 2 and BFG AT KOs. IMO solid good all round tire for the $$.

  3. Very nice gentleman.

A suggestion when buying a new set of tires.

The vehicle will look a lot better with tires that don't have white writing on them.

Obviously if there is a preference for a specific tires, nothing can be done about it.

 Really / nice to know. I've had a few trucks, enough to be aware already of that little nugget. I believe it's a matter of personal preference. This is not my DD and the smile on my kids face and :aok: Dad is all I need. All the best.

  4. Lol its not going to go on the carfax. That's only if it was in a crash and the frame was bent.

I took mine to what seemed like 20 different places, half of which told me to get out of here. Some referred me to other guys that were "the best" and those guys quoted me 600+

And then I found the shop out in the middle of nowhere who worked for cash and did it for 350 bucks. This is probably the best way to go. Some place that fixes farm equipment in the country or something.

Those are the best ones. A guy few roads over who used to fix/rebuild logging truck frames, has his own small shop and is available for fabrication.

  5. Say's who?? Damn place is crawling with them... P...

Just kidding Bud, welcome to NPORA and thanks for the post de-lurking introduction. :aok:

Thanks / we can trade homes for a month - you can have my health care and I'll take the parts (-) all the $$ shipping/brokerage fees. It would make for good TV

  6. Hello, after a few months of searching for a WD21 I finally found one and picked it up last weekend. SE - Auto with 189,000km, completely stock/original paint. It was certified in Quebec, the frame is solid - link below to the pics taken by the former owner. Really happy to have found the NPORA and have been doing much reading before de-lurking lol. Will be doing some mods / all the best.
