  1. Very interesting choice for the fabric for the recover. Where are you from? I am in Chattanooga.
  2. Yeah, I also found out I didn't have any rear speakers in mine. So, I am bout to buy new sets for the front and rears. The paper cones blow a$$ so I am in deed in the market for some new ones. I might even up grade to some comps. who knows. But thanks again. I am not doing any lighting or a system in mine, don't want to ruin the electrical system in it, since it is so old. But I will be putting in a CB. Thanks again, I am about to run out there and get the color codes after while. Thanks again guys!
  3. Thanks guys. I took care of it the other day. I got my DMM, and found all the wires. My buddy has a $700 matco DMM so I used it and tested for them all, and found them. Thanks again. I will put all the colors on here later tonight for anyone else here on out. Thanks again.
  4. Thanks, I have been playin with my DMM for about an hour, and am not getting any signal. I am unsure as to why either. I haven't used it in a while and kinda forgot how it works. But I hooked up the old CD player and got it to turn on.... hooked up the same wire with the power, have it grounded off and it still won't turn on. I dunno what the deal is.
  5. I am in the process of installing a CD player in my 87 Pathfinder. Someone cut the harness's off. And, I am tryin to figure out what the wiring color are for our rides... the CORRECT ones. The 12volts aren't right... or atleast not for mine. Please help as soon as you can. Thank you!
  6. I just got the pathfinder from my Uncle the other day, and am already loving it(I will post up some pics soon) I was wrong, it was an 87. Everything he had done was at the Nissan Dealership, so I doubt there is many more that have been taken better care of. But it is sitting low in the front, I am thinkin about doin the T-bars. But am unsure about how to do it. It says to raise it and lower it tighten clockwise, unless it is just one of those things you have to be under it to understand, then maybe that is my problem. As well, I would like to get some 33's under it. I enjoy goin campin and fishin, but won't do much off roading, and zero muddin. So I don't want to dump $1000.00 in a Calamni(sp?) lift. Thought about a 3 inch body and doin the Cherokee V8 Coils. Also saw on 4wheelparts they offer new Leafs that will add 2.5 I believe. Any ideas on those? Basically, I am just wanting ya'lls opinions and recommendations for lifting it. What is good, what isn't. What is safe, what isn't. I dunno if crankin the T-bars is safe or not. As well, as body lifts or even putting on another companys coils. As well as wheels. I am in dire need of some new wheels. What does everyone recommend? I believe they are 15's. Should I step up to 16's? What is our width, offset, etc. Do I need to stay with 10.50's for tires? Or go up to 12.50's? I don't want to do the TSL 11.50's. But I want a good tire, and again most of the time I will be on the road, so I would like something that will get a good tread life, but has a nice mean design pattern to it. And, if anyone has any used parts they would like to get rid of, i.e. wheels, tires, lifts, whatever. Please list it and let me know. Thanks for everything. I haven't been into 4x4's in about 2 years. So, its kinda new to me again. And I was always into domestic 4x4's. So this is an entirely new thing to me. Please help if you have ANY kind of quality information! Thanks guys!
  7. That is awesome. It is a manual 4x4. I want something that will do well. I have heard to many horror stories of people having wrecks on the road with body lifts and it pullin the body off of the frame, so I am a little cautious about doing that. But as long as I can hook it up with a cheap little suspension I am good as gold. If I adjust the Torsion bars will that level it out? Then I can put a lift on and everything will be even? I would like some more ideas as well. I have noticed that everything for Pathfinders is a little bit more in price from whatever reason. As well as harder to find. I am waiting for him to buy the new truck so I can start workin on it. I have been tryin to "Pimp" out my Maxima and ready to be back in a 4x4, I had a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 and I miss the heck out of it. So I am ready to get back into the 4x4 world. But if you have anymore ideas/recomendations PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Or if anyone has any spare parts for sale or anything, please let me know. Thanks everyone!
  8. I like the looks of your ride. What did your 6" run price wise? I don't want to drop to much money into a, almost 20 year old vehicle, which is the main reason I would do a body instead of a suspension. What else do you recommend doing? I mean I may take it off road a little, but I won't be hittin 3 ft holes anymore, or crawlin. Just doin the occasional little run. Any suggestions would very helpful. Thanks!
  9. I am in the mist of getting a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder V6 4x4 from my uncle when he purchases his new frontier or titan. He got it brand new, and everything that is been done to it has been at a Nissan dealership. I as well have a Nissan Maxima, which I have done a lot to it, and now I want to do a few things to the Pathfinder. I am unsure if is just in need of new springs or what the deal is. It looks like it was dropped in the front a few inchs, again unsure if they came that way or if it just needs some suspension work. So I am wanting to run some 33's on it, I have seen many run 31's out of the box. So I was looking into a 2 or 3 inch body with some 33's. I don't do much off roading, and probably won't do any with this truck. Just mainly using it to go camping and such. I was just wanting to see what everyones recommendations was and what information they had to offer on the current condition of the suspension with it sagging in the front. Thanks everyone.
