    i did it again today and i took pictures this time but they didnt turn out right... the weather is snowwy here right now so the camera didnt pick up on the mud, when i went to look at them it looked like a pathy just sitting in the mud... i was gonna use this one as a TOTM pic but i have to use an olderr one

    600,000 km's wow wat is that in miles. i would guess like 300,000 or so but im probably wrong.

     

    i dont know if you can call wat i do ecreational offroading but its offroading nonetheless.

     

    i was hunting duck with my buddy and he took me to this place way back in the woods and we had to drive over a "very undeveloped road." my pathy was stock at his point and my buddy was driving in a F-150, we had to go through a water outlet for a lake which was about 30 feet across and 2.5 feet deep. my buddy went through and had a whole heep of trouble getting his truck out on the other side. when he got out he laughed at me and said that my rig would never be able to do it seeing as he had trouble with it in his big tough F-150, I didnt want to cancel the trip on account of a creek/river, and i didnt want to leave my car there and wade across either so i looked at him and i said..."ah got *my "vocabulary" is so small* yourself, im comin over," (not actually knowing if i would be coming over or not).

     

    I inched down into the river and slowng crawled through the mix of rock and mud until I reached ghe other side and slammed the gas and popped out like a champ!

     

    my buddy just looked at me like holy crap... my american rig just got beat by a ricer, and i laughed at him.

    well none of them followed us home so i guess im in good shape.

    well, when i was in the middle of an intersection and still in 1st gear i did slam on the gas so i could get some mud off before the street narrowed again....it worked but it also hit the cars at the stop signs waiting to go....

    I feel like an ass

     

    today i was giving my girlfriend a ride to her car from our student union building and i had to turn around, so i found what looked like a concrete parking lot with a little bit of rain water on it and went to turn around.

     

    i pulled into th "parking lot" and found out it was about 6" deep mud...granted it was fun, but once i got on the road my tires started flinging mud all over, i hit students walking on the sidewalk, cars parked on the street, cars going in the other direction, etc.

     

    my gf was laughing her ass off, but i felt like an ass.

     

    i just had to tell someone.

    Oh!! ok so you dont have the spacers done yet... the only reason i didnt want to have you do it is because i thougt it would be an inconvenience.

     

    If you havnt had them made yet could you get some made for me and my 96. i would really appreciate it!!!

    Does anybody know what the dimensions are for a 1" strut spacer? A cad drawing would be even better.

     

    i need them because i have a local metal shop that said they might fab some spacers for me if i can get them the correct dimensions.

     

    this would be a more conveniant option for me than having tyler do it, it would also be less expensive.

    Not true.

     

    They agreed to make more of them just a month ago, however, they they backed out of the deal giving a lame excuse. They're a bunch of hosers, and their bumper quality isn't even all that great.

     

    Let's try Shrockworks again. Anyone in, or near, Houston want to give them your truck for a month?

    tjm backing our on fabbing bumpers for the R50....hmm seems like they dont make them for R50 anymore now doesnt it?
