I need a new MAF and the one from Nissan is like $560.00. is there a replacement that will work and be a little cheaper ???? I thought I read somewhere about using a Maxima one ?

I'll have mine in by the weekend. Friggen bed liner I used to cover the pipe took the primer off. So I had to start again. But its all fabbed up and ready to work.

Mine is more tight to body and goes up under my roof rack so seems more protected. No protruding parts to grab limbs out in the woods . Our trails around here are tight. Also my getto ABS pipe is very easy to fix .

My snorkel is almost on, painted and plumbed up!!!! Thanks for the motivation brudder!!! One question though, where did you get the door edging? My rubber hose trick works, but looks like a bag of d*cks :-)

Had an Xterra do that exactly the same issue get hot die cool down run like a champ, ended up as the distributor. Threw all kinds of codes but they were irrelevant as they were a result of the failing distributor.
But a code reader is pretty much a requirement, far to many sensors and other electronics that can mess up and you can not diagnose those easily.
I fixed it based on what you said. I took all the guts out of my dead motors distributer and now she runs like a top again .. Thank you !!!!!!

I can't drive it I will have to trailer it to check the codes. My buddy has a garage I was just trying to fix it so I could at least drive it down there.

I've just started checking this out and I don't own a scanner for the codes don't need smart ass answers. I thought maybe someone could offer some advice on what to check out first ???

My pathy wants to die but not until it gets warmed up. It just started doing this a couple days ago . Starts fine then just shuts off when warmed up then won't start til cool.
Check engine light is on. -

They look good with the new addition for the brake lines.Did you get rid of the reverse threads on one side ? is that why you must remove to adjust for length ? Let us know how they work..... I'm still very interested .I want to move rear axle back for larger tires any ideas on the track bar ?? Kind of an offset bracket ???

I would just leave it off . I thinkin a week or so you won't even notice. Mine has been off for over a year now and I like the flex more and it still feels fine on the street.

Looks nice I was wondering how you came out that far up the fender ?? I already had a dent where mine comes through and I don't have a stock airbox
