  1. Yes and As I read it the OP seemed like he did the spacers so he could put back on the factory center caps . But seems if you want to get at them quick and don't mind them sticking through the wheel you wont need the spacers and lengthening bolts .. maybe I am not reading right .. And yes that is a mystery on why that light comes on for the Auto mode owners ... even when my drive shaft was out of my PFinder for 2 weeks ... it was on and off erratically . but with driveshaft back in (and no locking hubs yet) it has been off ...
  2. I am going to send and show them this thread ... just for giggles .. they should know it fits ... but like I said if it triggers the 4WD light the application may not be perfect enough ... and they don't want the phone calls and returns .. but if I were them .. I would just put an asterisk next to the years it fits and have it read ... " * may cause 4WD light to come on "
  3. Well Thanks for Proving that they fit in and through the wheel . Don't know why Rugged Ridge won't say that they work for 2004 ...unless they just don't want to hear about the 4WD warning light complaints ....that will go on and off .. I don't think that does any harm ..
  4. Hawairish , Thanks for the Reply , but I was asking because the Rugged Ridge will not admit they fit the 04's they only say to 01 ... the Mile Markers do claim to fit the 04 .. in the application guides or on their sites and yes looking to reduce motion and drag ..
  5. Before I pull the trigger on The Rugged Ridge ... 15001.61 is this the best for 2004 ? Pros and others (Mile Markers) half the price ... and also Rugged Ridge not supporting the 2004 in its application guides .. Anyone give me an opinion please ..
  6. Just to be clear . I have not yet installed manual hubs . I have pulled out the front driveshaft , and have had it balanced , but have not re installed it . The Truck has no vibration , at all without the front drive shaft ... I have been driving like that for two weeks .. I just hope there is no harm in it ... The only thing that happens is occasionally the ABS light comes on . and Today the 4WD light came on ... Any way , I do plan to put the re-balanced front DS back in this weekend .and next step is to install the Rugged Ridge Manual hubs ... especially sooner if I get any vibration back .
  7. Thanks Rebelord , but thinking if vibrations gone with front Driveshaft removed ... the whhel bearings must be good ... but I will stay aware of them if any more vibration pop up in the future ...
  8. Thanks Rebelord , but thinking if the vibration is gone with front driveshaft removed ... Wheel bearings must be ok ...but I will stay aware of that if any vibrations arise in the future
  9. You guys are Awesome ... thanks so much !!! Going to get some Rugged's and get going

  11. Please Tell me if either need extended .. ..I guess I was reading that the wheel studs needed or were preferred to be extended by some ...but if there is a preference or need for other studs please Inform me ...
  12. Thanks totriz , found the info and that the Rugged Ridge does fit without spacers , but just asked on that thread if you still need to use longer studs or do the stock one work ?... ...with those LE Plat wheels
  13. I have those LE Wheels pictured above by Lerch641 ... so No spacers needed ... Great news ... but what about studs ... were stockers they long enough or did you need to use the longer and switch them out ?
  14. Ok I just changed out both rear u joints ... no good ... still vibrates .... but they were crunchy anyway ... Just pulled the front shaft and yup ...no vibes ... so off to get a used shaft at junkie ...or have mine balanced ....and maybe do the hubs too if they will fit my wheels ...
