hey rod... i would just bring the link to a shop.... stuff is really expensive here in ny to do and it cost me only 40buck to remove the old bushings on all 4 links.... so i really recommend it... but if u did want to do em urself u need to burn em out and drill out the rubber then air chisel the sleeve out.. helps if u sawzaw a cut on the sleeves to relieve the pressure

hey so after all this money i spent my truck rides like ASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! so newww tranny from the dealer.. new suspention and sfd new rear upper and lower bushings all new fluids...rear diff..transfer case..oil change and after i installed the bushings an entire new noise happened. my truck around 45mph and up makes some loud drone noises... especailly when i let of the gas.. at first i though it was from low fluid in the T case but i change it again with atf plus dectron 3 or how ever u spell it!... anybody have any idea,,, its driving me nuts.... Also when i did the rear bushing the rear axle moved back a bit and the drive shaft fell out... i lined it up again and slipped it in and then changed the fliud... Lol.. Sorry just keeping the 4"sfd lift.. So my question is with a four inch subframe drop lift the biggest tire i can fit are 33 s just curiouse because sliverpathy was running 33's with just the 2" ac coils... So i think im going to pick up a set of 33's
-
thanks for that response... i was on the fence with the extra 2"... but after ur post im most likely not going to do it... ill keep the 4"sfd and some 33"tires... that the safest i can go correct?
-
what did that run you $$ is it still possible to have another set made? how does your truck drive handle compared to stock... mine is driving like ass (not from the sfd) the rear 4 link bushings are shot and the rear axle is all over the place during breaking and accel... really wanna try two more inches of lift but im a bit worried.. does the steering have to be extended even more (after sfd extension) thanks
-
you guys with the ac coils and the sfd what are you running as a rear coils?
-
what did u use to lift the rear....
-
wj 3 inch lift coils...150 for the set

just picked up a set of 4 poly split kit from atomotive customizers..... and the bolt kit just in case.. isnt there a how to on replacings them... easy enough to do just time consuming..... any tips tho.. im thinking... A map torch-burn the old bushing apart and drill the old bushing apart to remove the center then press the old bushing sleeve out..
