  3. thats what someone told me tonight.... and i know a girl whose brother actually works/manages at "off road unlimited" in burbank, so maybe i will hit her up see if she can help me out. . .
  4. question is, can i drive down there and back for $318 in gas?
  5. so the company in Florida said I am roughly looking at $318. in shipping to SoCal. . . . so looks like that option just priced itself out of my budget. . . . thanks again all for your replies; pics and links!!! please feel free to keep em coming.....i am still waiting on the insurance company to figure out if the kid 'had permission' to be driving the car. MENTAL NOTE: next time i get pulled over and asked for my insurance I think I am going to try to tell the officer "I have permission to drive this car" just to see where that gets me. . . . lmao
  6. called in on my claim today; still waiting to see if the kid was covered / "given permission to drive the car by dad" basically. . . . i did email www.kenmtnac.com and received a reply that said their turn around time was estimated to be 6 - 8 weeks. . . . (i am kinda having a difficult time swallowing paying for something and waiting roughly up to 8 weeks for delivery)..... j.s. thanks all for your responses. i will let you know the outcome of this . Roy
  7. I went out, two blocks from my house to buy my 80 year old father a Charlie Brown christmas tree; and was hit in my suv in front of my house making a left by an 18 year old who decided to punch it and try to blow through the already red light. long story short; I am looking for alternative front and rear bumpers. Tubular style perhaps; (I've seen very few still around) but I am moreso looking for something that if hit will do more damage to the other party as opposed to me. lets include his; actually his dads car: that he couldnt even open the passenger door: the body shops estimate for this is at $1637.10 and I do not know if his ins. will cover it cause the driver is Not on the policy; and there is an excluded driver; and unfortunately I did not have uninsured motorist coverage at the time. So we shall see where this goes. the body shop wants 190.00 to remanufacture the bumper; 65.82 for the side cap 30.08 for the right bumper bracket 107.50 for the bumper panel (plastic piece on top?) yes if I have to fix this out of my pocket i will most likely be hitting up the jy; or if I can find who or where i can get a knarly built rear bumper; I will go there first. thanks all for reading.
  8. i realize my 95SE-V6 is a 4x4, and not a low-rider/show truck; but i am in the process of a few mods here and there... just installed a 13" flip down dvd; as well as a custom box housing 2 12" MTX subs. (still searching for the proper brush guard; once found and purchased will be installed) i posted a thread on changing my grill out to a phantom; but have decided after all i am not fond of that look; but am still curious/searching for a different look; what grilles WILL fit my 95 SE-V6. so this is my most recent idea; (minus the bumper pieces) i do realize this grill is on a hard-body truck; hence my question if it will bolt up... anyone care to coment? post pics of your non og factory grille? thanks again in advance Roy.

  10. this is more along the lines of what i am looking for....not really giving a crap bout my headlights. . .j.s.
  11. that be the one. (havent seen the bumper with billet inserts though. . . .will have to ponder that one...) thanx all for the input. goin to check out the site...
  12. ah.... ohk. thank you for the intel.. i vaguely recall seeing many styles when i was a pre-teen back then... not 100% sure i would choose this one/style but i was impressed to simply see one. lol thanx again for the input. . . anyone have links ? pics ?
  13. i was driving a friend of mine home today when i saw a 90-95 nissan pu with an old skool billet grille; it was the kind where the headlights sit behind the bars; as the grill sits flush with the hood and takes up the space in between the signals. i shoulda busted out my celly to take a pic of it but didnt. . . the point of this story is i have been looking for any type of old skool billet grille on CL and ebay; NEVER finding anything. . . i wish i could look up mini-truckin' archives from the mid 90's when there were many styles and manufacturers of billet grilles for our rides; just to see if somehow; someway i could find one. anyone here have a type of billet grille on their 90-95? if so please post.!.
  14. i blacked out my sunroof (due to all my glass being limo tinted out; my entire windshield has 35%) no more of the sunroof acting as a magnifying glass roasting me from the top; also no worries on any glare comin through there ;-)
  15. i am wanting to purchase a few (4?) off road lights to mount to a custom CNC'd block of aluminum i made at work. i want really bright lights. dont really care about size; but i dont exactly want to spend $600 per light (i have seen at (offroadunlimited.com) so i am here posting to hear feed back and see some pics. thanks in advance Roy
