i heard that if you run your winch cable around a tree and back to a tow hook or another good anchoring place on your truck it doubles the rate that the winch can tow, making an 8000lb winch able to tow 16000lbs
my alternator was doing that on my 240sx, it would charge when it was running but it was also drawing power when the car was off, within a couple days of sitting it would be completely dead
im talking something for mudding and offroading, the stock airbox seems quite low and im looking for something cheaper then a snorkle, maybe just somewhere to relocate?
i was just wondering if there is a better way to run the intake to get it up higher and away from water slash up (other then a snorkel) anybody find a better way then stock?
im also on the island, just finished lifting my truck today, 3" suspension and 2" body running on 33's.. looks pretty clean (figuratively speaking lol) but im located in chemainus
