  1. I am at a loss.If you take the headliner out and use bolts, are u bolting the roof rack to some other reinforcement under the top? if not,I do not see the difference in bolts and self tapping screws. The screws ar just bolts to begin with that drill thierself. If you wanted to add a nut,u can also do that.Figured this was easier than drilling holes, then sliding bolt in and taking headliner out all for the nut. Ive used these to secure tool boxes etc and never had one fly off or rip the metal.
  2. I think so also, one of the best body lined car ever made. Came with full power Recaro memory seats and among other things. Owner even left his am/fm/cd player with Infinity amp in trunk.lol now to get her running correctly again
  3. That is the speed of your flux capacitor at idle lol
  4. Just picked it up and drove it home saturday 125 miles.I have $650 in it. 1985 BMW 635 CSi "the shark" car actually was owned or 24 years to MAJ in USMC that lived 12 miles from me.Now it is back home
  5. i read up and saw the auto linkage is long enough but the 4x4 shifter need extending or bending if you dont go with a HB shifter. Havn't seen anything that tells me why the auto and 5 speed or different
  6. looking at 3 inch body lift for the pathfinder.I have seen a few that state "not for automatics".What is the difference in the 2 kits.
  7. why is eveyone in a freakin hurry.slow down.lol
  8. I was told the evaporator core might be leaking.makes sense i guess.Back to the shop it goes.
  9. Had the pathy in shop lst week to fix ac leak and they worked on the drain hose for me,cleaned it out.It seems to leak more water to start with but still poured out into the floor. Now,it doesnt leak at all from the drain hose and its pouring into the floor when i make suden moves like hard braking or sharp turning. Possible i have a hose thats causing the leak other than the drain hose?
  10. You aint ever been to lower Bama in July or august have you? lol Thinking hard makes u bead up with sweat.
  11. It doesn't line up because the bumper is tweaked from a slight front end collision. And the corner light is broken at the mounting point on bottom.I will be replacing the bumper and support before the brush guard and whatever grille i decide goes on.
  12. thanks, ill be picking ur brain i see when i finally pull all of this stuff.
  13. In Alabama, there isn't anyone going to be under it looking for anything.hell, they wouldn't even know what to look for.lol All the Poo Poo wants to know if it has a muffler...or they want to hear that it does. Thanks for the info, sounds pretty much what i take off on the turbo cars.
  14. I am used to removing cats because i have owned a few turbo cars.I see some of the tubes running to the cat so I know once I start removing the smog pump and its accessories, the cat will have to go. Just seeing if anyone else has done it and what exactly can go and what can stay. What stays but has to be capped off etc. Going to see how much of the engine bay I can clear out before I fully clean it and make it all nice looking again.
  15. No emissions in Alabama and the housing on the air pump filter is rotten.Anyone else removed their smog parts?what can and can't go?

    Light bar

Good job.Nice find.I have a thule roof rack(just the front)on mine right now that i may put lites on if I can't find a better lite bar.I like the thule because i will not have to drill itno the top. Nice pathfinder
  17. This is a new one on me as I have never seen any vehicle I have ever owned do this. This morning while turning into Hardees,I heard a noise under the dash on the passenger side.I looke dover and i see a piss stream of water pouring into the floor.I thought,oh crap, heater core is gone.Mind you,I had the ac on and it was nice and cool inside the suv. I get out and check it and its not radiator water, its clear.....look up and i see condensation on some of the parts.Looks like the stream is coming from the "evaporator housing"(or whatever nissan calls it)? and some of the hoses and tubes have condensation on them. Doesn't leak turning to right but turning left,it will stream water in the passnger corner of the floor board. Anyone want to tell me what it is? Also wanted to say i am not sure its the drain hose being clogged as it pours water from the underside when i use the ac.
  18. may actually get my friend to cut me a new one and cut nissan into the fairing. But more than likely it will get painted and some decal will go on it.
  19. yeah,i saw that when i mounted it so i have it lifted just enough to keep it off the paint.Good information.thanks and since it's a 2 door,i have no need of the other rack as of now.Looking at how to add lites and not drill into the top.and also no over the door edge ghetto BS wiring.lol
  20. First time I saw this,I couldn't get it to come off.But I got it off today and mounted it on the ride. I am wanting roof lites and this may fit the bill.I do not care for the ends sticking out so I may end up cutting them back flush to the mounts.Looks kinda weird sticking so far out. Price was for both pieces so i grab the rear rack also.Might keep it for and extra one later one. Snagged a bug guard also.Love bug season here soon and that will definately help keep them from embedding into the hood and fenders.
