  1. WOW lolI have been having this exact same problem!!! I had kind of decided it was my tie rod ends and was going to install new ones while i had everything apart for my lift, but you guys say its the inner tie rod?? Let me know how you other guys' turn out!!
  2. Thats pretty dirty, not too mention that mudding trip looks like a blast!!!
  3. Great info again guys, thanks alot!!! Because I am replacing warn out parts do I need to buy things like strut boots and mounts?
  4. Ok so I will outline my situation for all who read. I had my SE into midas today for break work and while it was on the lift I took the opportunity to check into some suspension noise I had been having with my stock setup. In a nutshell I need everything on all four corners or will be needing it very shortly. My struts are in terrible shape, rear springs are so soft that my bump stop is bottoming out on nearly every bump by the looks of it. Bad news! All that being said I have decided to just go ahead and put the AC lift kit in it instead of putting it back together with OEM parts (that just seems counter productive). Anyway the real meat of my question is after looking on the www.4x4parts.com webpage, it says all kits need aftermarket wheels with 3.75" BS. This is kind of unexpected timing for me and the project funds are a little limited. Will I be able to run my stock wheels if I dont upgrade to bigger tires until I can afford a wheel and tire package? Or are aftermarket wheels essential? Also I did look at the pinned topic on this but I am kind of on a time crunch and would just aprreciate a couple of concise answers. Thanks a alot again in advance, Steve.
  5. Hey everyone, I've been watching the board for some time and finally decided to join. I have an 01 SE 4X4 that is currently sitting in the driveway oozing off todays mudding Currently it is in stock form but I would like to put a lift on it for the obvious reasons (looks, clearance and bigger tires) but i have some very noob questions i need answers for. Firstly, I keep reading about AC 2" lifts but cant find anywhere that sells anything by that name. What does AC stand for? is it an actual kit or is it a piece it together yourself job? Thanks for all of your help, Steve
